I didn't stay -- dinner only. Service and presentation of food was lovely, two of the appetizers (asparagus, pork terrine) excellent, the third so-so (salad)

Excellent stay at The Ebrington Arms. Easy parking and check-in experience. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were cosy and comfortable. Appreciated the bath after a long day walking. Tea and coffee was provided. Good selection for breakfast. We ate at the pub for dinner one night which was excellent. Loved being able to hang out in the pub and the garden with a drink. Great location to base ourselves for a few nights while we explored nearby. Overall excellent value for money.

The Lion, Tredington, hotel in Ebrington

Located in Shipston on Stour, 13 km from Walton Hall, The Lion, Tredington provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

I stayed here for two nights mid-week. The proprietor is also an excellent host, and assisted me with some local transportation. The pub/restaurant was pleasantly busy, and the evening menu-and food-excellent. I stayed in the largest suite upstairs, which suited me perfectly for working. You need to be quite nimble to make it up there, but there are other rooms on a lower level. Ample parking, and beautiful gardens to the rear.

We stayed here for one night and were very happy with our stay. We arrived at about midday and were planning to walk to Chipping Camden for some lunch but decided to instead eat at The Seagrave Arms as the dining room had a great atmosphere and the food looked good. Tasty food, great atmosphere, really nice decor and lovely owners. The room was also nicely kitted out. Breakfast was an absolute feast, not only could you order a cooked breakfast each (we went for eggs benedict) but then we got two extra portions of thick toast with a selection of jams/honey/butter so we left feeling very full. During our stay we walked to Chipping Camden via Dover's Hill so The Seagrave Arms was the perfect location. Lots of parking too!

All was spot on for us.

All was spot on for us. We weren't able to visit the pub next door because of coronavirus so we spent time in our room and read. There is only one pub in the village so a car is needed to venture further in the evening. We eat in at Holly House so I can't comment on other eateries.

This was a perfect area for the parts of the Cotswolds which we hadn’t visited before. We loved Chipping Camden and Broadway and experienced great views from the top of Broadway Tower - definitely worth doing. Sadly we didn’t get to eat in the delightful pub in Ebrington .....maybe next time!
