Good location, I stay here a lot. Great heating, nice bath, staff were accommodating when asking for more pillows and kindly took them to my room whilst I was out.

For a budget hotel it was clean enough for a couple of nights. These places serve a purpose for mainly housing contractors through the week. Does what it says on the tin.
This hotel should be condemned!
We had no curtains, sheets on bed did not fit, drawers falling apart, sink dirty with old soap and toothpaste splatters on tap, no toilet roll, our friends room had sink full of dirty water and full of dead flies, the only way not of the hotel is down stairwell, no access or help for anyone unsteady on there legs or disabled. Dining room looked like a dumping ground for staff clothing. No organisation over where keys were, or even if the key worked in the door. Budget hotel but really even those standards were very very low. How booking.com can show photos taken is beyond, just look on trip advisor !!!

Beautiful countryside walks.
Beautiful countryside walks. Stones Cove scuba diving just a stone throw away. Dinner at the hotel was exceptional, especially the fillet steak…
I would like to stay again in the Field View cottage which has a hot tub too. I would also like to hire the whole place for a private family party.

Very small village which is quite run down.
Very small village which is quite run down. However it is ideally placed for Stoney Cove Scuba diving facility.
Not much options for food unless you like takeaway or Indian.
Hinckley town 10 mins away has lots of food and entertainment options.
The hotel is small and cosy. The room was at the front but the window was open overnight with little noise from traffic. Bathroom was large and although not a recent installation was very clean and lashings of hot water after my swim! There are also nice toiletries provided.
The outdoor pool was very warm, with an outdoor cubicle to change in. This was used morning and evening. I had an evening meal and found the menu very interesting with many small options which makes a change. The food I had was very tasty.
Lovely privately managed hotel. All staff were charming and always had time to talk with us. Food was first class and dining room always beautifully set up. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, his wife and their staff. The gardeners were family member nd they chatted with us.
We stopped off in this lovely hotel for a night on our travels down south for a wedding. We’re so happy we did! We loved the pool! It’s beautiful and was so refreshing! All of the staff were lovely, the room very clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay again
Nothing it looked like s BnB the set tp not a hotel.pictures on sire day they have hot tub only to be told its only when book certain room.this is false advertising coz that was reason for us booking give it was my niece birthday,,dossapointed.
Couldn’t get through to the hotel, 3 times I tried customer service was no help, number for hotel doesn’t work. Left AirPods was trying to ring to get them to put to the side to collect, no help, AirPods gone. Shocking.
Warm greeting at reception. We did not eat breakfast now dinner at the hotel but only because of our tight schedule. The dining room looked comfortable and nicely laid out though.
the showers were powerful and lots of hot water.
the two staff we met were nice and helpful but it would have been nice to be warned about the party hotel atmosphere.
