Great breakfast. Restaurant, lounge, bar area friendly, quiet.
Cupar is ideally placed to travel around Fife..
We mainly visited St Andrews as our great nephew was attending the university.
We dined in St Andrews for all our meals so we cannot say anything about dining in Cupar.
There seems to be plenty of choice when venturing around as to what and where to eat should suit many a healthy appetite.

This is a lovely location and Gillie is an excellent host.
This is a lovely location and Gillie is an excellent host. The rooms are all on the ground floor, lovely and very comfortable and overlooking the garden which is several hundred metres from the road down a private lane. This is a high standard b&b and the best accomodation I have stayed in when staying in the fife area.

Cupar is a historic town dating back to the 7th century..
Cupar is a historic town dating back to the 7th century.. An excellent and authentic example of Scottish tradition in particular around the area where Cupar Burgh Chambers is located. Visit the museum next to Cupar Station. Crossgate is it's main axial road and has everything you need. Fisher and Donaldson have two bakeries in the town - a small one in Crossgate and a tea room next to the large Tesco. Try their stovies, fudge doughnut or a marzipan fruit or Belgian biscuit but lot's more!! A wonderful base for exploring the beautiful Fife countryside with it's quaint villages and St Andrew's itself - get a bus and try some whiskies there!!" The Fife Folk Museum in the nearby village of Cerus is very interesting and has a tea room. The Deer Park a must go to venue with lots to do and see for all ages.

Cupar is a nice place. Friendly locals.
Cupar is a nice place. Friendly locals. Convenient for St Andrews and the East Neuk. I enjoyed my dinner at 'The Press' (venison and smoked Applewood lasagne) and lunch the next day at Fisher and Donaldson (stovies).

Cupar or Ladybank are both good for connecting trains.
Cupar or Ladybank are both good for connecting trains. Cupar is well worth a visit and a return HOWEVER we use this area to stay to enable visits to the whole area and its coastline and even for day trips further North or Glasgow/ Edinburgh.
The room was truly 5* and I've been lucky enough to stay at some of the best hotels in the world to enable comparison. Moreover it was utterly spotless with everything taken care of. Breakfast was individually cooked, very tasty and the perfect start to a day. Overall nothing was too much trouble from check in to departure. Go out of your way to stay here, it's worth every single penny and some.
It’s a lovely B&B, very clean and in perfect location not far from St Andrews, Dundee and Cupar. Breakfasts are exceptionally. Our host Drew is a lovely man, very helpful and caring.
Me and my husband are very happy with our stay and we would definitely recommend Osnaburgh B&B to everyone.

Good location - Cupar is a nice base for exploring Fife, interesting in itself, well-cared-for, and plenty of shopping. The property, unusually, is a bit more spacious than the photos suggest and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, etc. Everything was clean. Beds comfortable.
Loved the history around the apartment about the town of Cupar. lovely tall roofs and layout of the windows in the rooms. Bread, butter and milk in the apartment when we arrived. Very central with taxi rank just outside.
Excellent B&B on the edge of Cupar, very well run with meticulous attention to detail, great value for money, spotlessly clean with excellent facilities, Lovely cooked breakfast, nice views to the rear.
The location is great, really close to St. Andrews or other places in Fife. The place was very clean indeed and nice a roomy. The hosts were helpful and contacting back and forth was simple and smooth.
Location was great for visiting Dundee, perth and Cupar. Kitchen was a lovely room to sit and eat and chat in. Lots of games for the family to play as well. Quiet area and lovely garden to sit in.
Light and airy, comfortable and good supplies. Clean and great locations for me to walk round the town. Was home for a family death in Cupar, so was ideal.
