Firstly we were greeted by a lovely lady who gave advice on spots to see and places to go. We arrived early morning before check in but were able to leave our luggage in a secure room while we were exploring the city. The decor and room were spectacular, clean and tidy and even for a junior suite was exceptionally spacious and light. Reception staff were amazing and helpful. I did mention that it was a surprise birthday trip for my partner, and that it was his first time in Edinburgh, and they kindly left a card and gift on arrival which was a thoughtful touch. We both loved our weekend stay and if we come to Edinburgh again this will be the first place I will look for. Thank you all so much it was all very much appreciated

Breakfast disappointing. Poor choice of bread, granary&sourdough. Scotch rolls would be good.. No local cooked items. Haggis, Lorna sausage, Arbroath smokies, for example.

Fantastic location. Well appointed. Very comfortable. Query about hot water promptly dealt with. A very good base and wonderful place to relax in. Right in the heart of Edinburghs west end with perfect access to EICC, the historic heart and Princes street. Many excellent restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend and will be back
The location is great. Close to the train station and EICC,, where the conference I attended was held.
The owner was responsive to complaints and made moves to take action
Room was nice and big. I had breakfast included and it consisted of an unlimited choice from continental menu plus one choice from the warm menu. I've been satisfied with the food every time. The hotel is located very close to the Haymarket tram station which provides easy and cheap access to/from the Airport. It is also within walking distance of the EICC where I was attending a conference.
