Everything was good about our stay here, proximity to M6 to break the journey to Scotland. The room was very comfortable and food was good. I would just have liked a healthier vegetarian breakfast option.

Rural location is good.
Rural location is good. And everything at the hotel was great! Friendly and professional staff, comfortable and immaculately clean room and superb food and service at a reasonable price in the restaurant. Ample free car parking, too.
Only slight negative is that hotel is on a busy, fast road with no pavements - so walks from it might be limited for some guests (eg those with several small children or some elderly people).

We stayed here for a four day break, the hotel staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was clean and Covid safe and the food was exceptional.
Very friendly staff and rooms were nice and clean. Kids enjoyed the stay. Facilities are fine, it depends on how much time you spent at hotel. Breakfast was also nice.
Met with a group for dinner. Despite being very busy the service was very good. The room was very good, and just the right temperature, which is uncommon for a hotel.
Booked room and breakfast, room was very spacious and clean, breakfast following two days was wholesome, hot and ready in a few minutes - great service all around.
I was very happy with this hotel except for one thing detailed below, and that it was why I gave it a one star rating. Otherwise I would have rated it five stars.
