Very welcoming staff, homely feel. The room was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and included in the stay. You could choose what you like from the menu and a hot drink, plus a few extra bits like fruit, cereal and juices available to help yourself if you wanted. Handy being over the pub for dinner. Free parking, lots of space available. Accidentally left my phone charger in the room and they were kind enough to organise posting it back to me. The location is nice, check out the river walk at the back of the pub car park. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Nice open feel, location was brilliant for using the airport and staff were very helpful. It wasn't cheap but it was worth the extra for the convenience. Would definitely use again

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room had a comfy bed, large bathroom, hot drink facilities, iron and board, fresh towels and large TV. We travelled for a family birthday party and just needed a cheap stay for the night. The value for money is amazing!
The hotel did an amazing job at making you feel welcome.
The hotel did an amazing job at making you feel welcome. Tailored welcome note with our names on. Calling ahead of our arrival to see if we needed dinner reservations as the restaurant was booking up. Bottled water, nuts, biscuits, tea and coffee all available in the room. Breakfast was amazing!

Small with excellent restaurant within walking distance or dine inhouse. It is relatively close to where friends live and less than 30 minutes to Bristol where we had to visit. Cheddar gorge and many other inland sites or visit the coast e.g. Weston-Super-Mare which is close by. This was a return visit for us as we knew the location and hotel would suit our needs well. Really cannot emphasise enough just how welcoming and accommodating the staff are and they really take a pride in looking after their guests.

Close to my family.
Large supermarket nearby in Clevedon. Smaller shops in Congresbury & Yatton. Mostly good for driving in Congresbury, but narrow main street with cars parked on one side in Yatton so avoid if you can.

The Congresbury Arms as a base for visiting it worked well and plenty of dedicated parking available. All food - breakfast through to dinner was excellent. Staff very friendly and equally as efficient and helpful. Room more than adequate and whole experience we thought reasonably well priced - especially considering the amount of French Sauvignon Blanc etc. consumed!
After dinner comfortable snug area where we had a quiz evening with friends instead of playing cards and even had a couple of staff supplying (correct) answers to questions we did not know whilst they were working!
Would definitely return there and did recommend the restaurant to several local people who were at the same golden wedding anniversary party as we were.
I loved the friendliness of the staff, and the decor of the bar/reastaurant. Nice and airy, and a nice food choice selection. Parking spaces adjacent to the pub, forming part of the village municipal parking, but allocated to the hotel. High ceilinged bedrooms, with the obligatory sloping floor in places from the age of the building, the bathroom could have been a little larger, but that's compromise with the building age.
We booked this hotel as we were attending a wedding at Double Tree Hilton Cadbury house which was a 2 minute drive away! It made hobbling home after a few beers easy. Also the hotel called ahead of time to see if we wanted dinner reservations as they didn't want us to miss out due to them being at capacity. After seeing one of the rooms at Cadbury house im glad that we booked this hotel :) Much better value for money.
Privately owned well run by great staff - nothing too much trouble. Food was very good, as was drink selection behind bar. Parking facility on site a great bonus and all round it suited us very well in terms of location and provided a relaxed enjoyable stay. If you want a corporate style location this is not for you - this is a relatively small intimate and friendly hotel which I much prefer.
Good location for visiting Bristol and the surrounding area. Excellent fulfilling breakfast with good range of choice. Also had two evening meals there which were very enjoyable and well priced. Comfortable room with good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.
Have stayed in three hotels in the South of Bristol area and this is by far the best. Would definitely book there again.
The Congresbury Arms location is a great place to stay for visiting many great places around Somerset. The staff are very welcoming and the accommodation spotlessly clean. We dined in the restaurant on two occasions during our stay and food was superb. There was lots of choice for breakfast each morning which was equally as good.
Very kind and professional staff, ready to support when required. Good and tasty breakfast. Nice position in the countryside. On the check-out day they prepared us a small take-away breakfast as we were leaving the hotel very early in the morning
3rd stay at this lovely hotel breaking our journey to Cornwall, lovely village just off the M5, comfortable room, Beautiful restaurant serving good food and great breakfast, would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back next year
Good location. On a crossroads - information provided said that traffic might be a problem but we didn't find it so. Comfortable bed. Food is excellent: this is really where the Congresbury Arms scores.
Nice room, very clean bathroom, refillable shampoo, soap bottles with nice scent, cosy restaurant attached to the hotel, good location close to Bristol Airport, free car parking for hotel guests.
well run in a good location by river although our room in the front of the hotel was noisy due to the road outside, was not helped as weather was exceptionally hot and we had the windows open.
great location, great hotel and incredible staff
food was excellent and great value with a wide choice of menu, loction was great to the M5 as e were breaking up our journey to cornwall
