Its above a pub so expect to hear noise in the background, but it was not that bad. Very clean and included hairdryer and capsule epsresso machine apart from kettle for instant coffee. Separate entrance from the pub which is nice as you dont have to go through it if its busy, other than when checking in and out.

The location was perfect for the events we were attending at the weekend.
The bed was very comfortable, even though it was a large double and we had requested twin beds.

There for a wedding at Carlton Towers, Odddfellows is very well placed for the venue just a short walk. The Towers is one of the best stately homes I have seen pity it's not open to the public. The wedding itself was perfect the staff at the Towers were brilliant very helpful and made sure we all had a wonderful day.

We booked overnight as it was 3 hour trip each way gave us a chance to explore unfortunately constant rain killed it we will endeavour to go again later in year
Really nice room and excellent location for a wedding we attended at Carlton Towers but no breakfast at all!! Apparently the staff had left for pastures new so no chef to do the breakfast, not even an offer of a discount as breakfast was included in the price. No one around the following morning for checking out either. Some guests at the same wedding had booked over the phone but when they turned up no record of their booking!
The most friendly welcome we've ever received at any hotel we've been to. The owners 'literally' couldn't do enough for us and we got the impression this was exactly what they are like with everyone. Quiz nights on Sundays and unbelievable magic from the landlord. An incredible (if slightly surreal!!) stay. Loved it.
Perfect location to stay for a wedding at Carlton Towers. 5 mins walk.
Cottage is really comfortable. Huge downstairs bathroom, cosy sitting room and 2 comfortable bedrooms upstairs. No kitchen or fridge. Kettle and tea/ coffee/ water provided. Lovely setting on edge of estate near Carlton pub and shop.
Spacious stylishly decorated room, very comfy bed, excellent shower with a squeegy for the floor. Mitch and Caroline were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the quiz night followed by pizza was very enjoyable. Would stay again and recommend this hotel.
Mitch the owner went out of his way to make our stay absolutely amazing, from giving us lifts to and back to a venue nearby to an amazing cooked breakfast in the morning. The hotel is beautiful, clean and full of character.
It was a very nice looking hotel room with very comfortable beds. The shower was very powerful and the bath is nice. There are appliances but I didnt need the tv as I went straight to bed after using the bath.
