Flambards Hotel, hotel in Cardigan

Located in Cardigan, 25 miles from Oakwood Theme Park, Flambards Hotel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

Fabulous stay, the proprietors were warm and welcoming. Gave great tips of things to see in the area and a little further out. The pub was a haven after a busy day touring about. The restaurant was excellent and interesting to cook your own protein. There was a gas bar a block away and a fish & chip shop that was doing a very brisk business.

The Cliff Hotel & Spa, hotel in Cardigan

This renowned hotel features one of the most breathtaking views and marine locations in Wales, overlooking Cardigan Bay, the rugged coastline, the Teifi Estuary and the broad sweep of Poppit Sands.

Hotel is in a beautiful location, the most comfortable beds! A really fabulous night's sleep. Gorgeous walks down to the beach and around the caves. The spa was lovely and every member of staff around the hotel was super friendly, helpful, polite.... just really good people! A special shout out to Elaina on reception. We hadn't planned on staying at this hotel, we stumbled across it whilst camping and I'm so glad we did. I will definitely come back for a planned, longer visit in the Summer. My only criticism would be breakfast, while the hot selection is really good, the fruit and pastry's were poor quality and it showed, they were really un-appetising. But that is a minor, on the whole fabulous stay and will be back.

Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages, hotel in Cardigan

Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages offers accommodations in Cardigan, 27 miles from Oakwood Theme Park and 27 miles from Folly Farm.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

Travelling through South Wales so only stayed one night but would return and recommend. Hotel is exceptionally beautiful, what a treat to find this place. Our room was stunning and I could have lived in the spacious bathroom! The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The view amazing, overlooking the gardens. Beautifully prepared breakfast and locally sourced food in the dining room listening to relaxing music. A perfect base to visit Cardigan and some of the amazing beaches which are unspoiled.

This was one of the best hospitality experiences we've ever had! The staff are the heart of Albion, each of them helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and friendly - always willing to chat, give recommendations, and connect. The breakfast was delicious, the restaurant on-site is amazing (though only open on the weekends), and the bar/coffee is well-stocked and wonderful. The hotel itself is thoughtfully designed with quality products with an incredible location in the city and in Wales overall.

Booking process was very straightforward, there's parking out front & check in was very easy. Nicola & Anthony that run it are lovely, so friendly, very welcoming & go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Our room (3) was very nice & had everything we needed & the double bed was very comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee + bottled water which is always on offer if you're running low. The hotel is a 5min walk from Cardigan Castle & so in a great spot for exploring the town.

Breakfast was good quality food. The view from dining room is over the bay and would be the envy of many hotels. We had dinner on two evenings, with good choices on the menu. The standard double room was adequate, and the bed comfortable. The large shower was a lovely surprise.
