Beautiful room with lovely amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious, as was breakfast. The additional charge for a cooked breakfast seemed fair and the continental breakfast was well stocked and good quality. Beautiful location and children felt welcome, which was great.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

This was one of the best hospitality experiences we've ever had! The staff are the heart of Albion, each of them helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and friendly - always willing to chat, give recommendations, and connect. The breakfast was delicious, the restaurant on-site is amazing (though only open on the weekends), and the bar/coffee is well-stocked and wonderful. The hotel itself is thoughtfully designed with quality products with an incredible location in the city and in Wales overall.

We needed an overnight stay close to Cardigan to attend a wedding. Flambards was perfect. Rooms were really clean and cozy. Facilities and shower was great. The Host was really friendly and accommodating. He also let us check out slightly later so we could get ready for the wedding we were attending. The Breakfast was also good and as a coeliac I was well catered for which is rare. Overall Great place to stay in this area of Wales.

No one can dispute this hotel has some of the best views and enjoying breakfast, dinner or just drinks overlooking the magical Cardigan bay is probably worth tens times what the hotel actually costs for a night's stay. I am a returning once local resident and this view is awe inspiring. An indulgent breakfast is a highlight as well as an hour in the spa - gratis. Can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

Everything was great, nice hotel and pleasant staff. Our room was nice and cozy, clean and enough space for the two of us. We had view of the car park, but we didn't upgrade to a sea view so we got what we paid for. Breakfast was included which was very tasty and many options to chose from. Location of the property was lovely, with a beautiful seaside walk just across the road.

Superb location, close to so many towns, villages and beaches. Had a lovely stay. The Cottage is on the site of the beautiful Penrallt Country House Hotel in Aberporth which is a lovely setting. Short drive to Cardigan, which is what we wanted; places to eat... PizzaTipi, The Copper Pot, El Salsa, Stiwdio 3 Cafe for breakfast. Try 'A Bay to Remember' for boat trips

The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

We arrived around 8 pm and were still able to check in before the cut off time. Free parking for our car (although the parking area is tiny...I read there is a secondary lot in case the first one is full). Fully equipped kitchen. Our room was bare bones but clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Nice hot water shower. Great price!

The receptionist was very professional and very knowledgeable of the area. The heating was off and the receptionist was super quick to sort it out on top of that she gave me a portable heater to help take the edge of the coldness to the heating kicked in. The hotel is in the centre of cardigan making it easy accessibility to everything.

Due to covid restrictions it is very difficult to give a reasonable opinion of the hotel. We missed the evening meal and it is a VERY quiet little village. Breakfast was fine as were the rooms. I've no reason not to go again when circumstances are better.
