Everything. Our main take away from our stay was that everyone was so kind and friendly, from the receptionist, to the ladies at the spa to the lady who served us breakfast. it made our stay, that much more enjoyable.
We stayed in the Alder Lodge, which provided a little extra privacy and allocated parking, which was perfect. The room was very clean and the patio area was cute (although it rained, so we didn't use it). I spoke to the receptionist a number of times before our stay as it was a surprise for my partners birthday so I requested the room key early which was accommodated with zero issues.
Situated in Wallingford and with University of Oxford reachable within 23 km, The Royal features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This 3-star hotel offers barbecue facilities.
