Everything about this hotel was just perfect. The hotel is positioned amongst stunning Derbyshire countryside and exudes classic English elegance and charm. This B&B is definitely a standout choice for any traveler and the photos don’t do it justice. I was truly impressed by the value for money it offered. Every morning, I enjoyed a great breakfast with high-quality ingredients. The location couldn't have been better—just a stone's throw away from points of interest and scenic hiking trails, perfect for both adventurous hikes and leisurely strolls. What made my stay even more special was the hospitality of the owner, Naomi, and her attentive staff. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The location was quiet and peaceful, and the hosts gave us a very warm and kind welcome when we arrived, even offering to tumble dry our wet clothes for us! The room and en-suite were well equipped and had everything you need to make you comfortable, as well as being very clean. We had a great night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast, setting us up well for the day ahead. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come here again if we were to return to the area.

This accommodation provides you with good access to Chatsworth House & Hardwick Hall with their beautiful gardens, there were others we wanted to see but not enough time this trip. From the back of the hotel, you can access the Tissington trail for cycling along with hiking using the many footpaths within the area. In addition to this trail we also completed the Monsal trail starting in Bakewell, both trails are well maintained and have excellent views, cycle hire and cafes along their routes.
Manifold and Dovedale provide beautiful waterside walks and are both very close to the apartments. We will be back in the area soon as there is so much more to explore.
