The room was a bit smaller than what normally used too but very pleasant. The famous breakfast lived upto the deserved reputation it absolutely splendid freshly cooked hot and delicious Staff were top class friendly and knowledge based of the area

A lovely pub with a good local clientele, very genuine. Food was classic English pub food , nicely cooked and fresh. A very reasonable price for both food and room. No breakfast, but the cafe next door was perfect. Comfortable bed and nice decor.

Formerly a coaching inn dating back to the 1500s, The Lion Inn is situated 15 minutes’ drive from the large spa town of Cheltenham and features an on-site restaurant and bar.

It’s in a very nice location and was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the beer garden outside our room was very pretty.

Great staff - we visited just before they had the builders move in for redecoration and redevelopment. Lovely location and really pleasant part of the world.
