We stayed 2 nights in Cholet. first night, we had a short visit in the town centre. 2nd day, Puy du Fou for the full day, a Must See. on the way back we visited the splendid Parc of Maulévrier, the biggest Japanese parc in Europe.

We loved it all and was just the perfect amount of time.We crammed in a lot in those 3 days! Would definitely recommend Cholet!! Le Miel was a quaint little food area , they had homemade baked goods.Staff were amazing even for my French language . L'ecalier bistro iode (Cholet ) was just AAAAAhhhhhhmmmmmaaaaazzzzing !!! Food was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious and just the right amount as we had fine dining like that.Portions you'd think for any Canadian would be small but you got to savour all of the Chefs flavour in it all .Definitely recommend this bistro to everyone !! Good centre for visiting the local region, vineyards & chateaus. Good shopping available, many locally owned shops with fewer larger chains in the town centre than many other places.
Some local undiscovered restraunts are excellent and very reasonable, Le Romarin, near the railway station, and Le Pouce Pied our favourites.

I like B&B hotels and I liked this one. The room looked like it was recently refurbed with a proper shower. niceley laid out i was solo it might be a bit cramped for two. There was proper coat hanger that could take a heavy coat. The man on reception was nice. At breakfast the was the usual plus hot eggs, bacon and sausage. Unusually for B&B there was microwave meals available in the evening, which was good for us. Good wi fi.
This location was excellent for us post Puy du Fou. The host was great about our late arrival of 12:30 am. The accomodations were fresh and clean and the parking spot was excellent! I would highly recommend this spot to family and friends. Owners were excellent communicators. Spoke English. Clean organized. Location was excellent for what we needed
Well appointed, located and equipped. Modern, clean property with excellent wifi connectivity. Very responsive owners who seem to genuinely care for their property as well as their guests. Ideally located for visiting Puy du Fou and great information on places to eat locally. We had a very enjoyable weekend break.
Really well situated for the town centre shops, bars and restaurants. A well-equipped little studio so we had total independence and flexibility. Cholet is well placed so we were able to visit Puy du Fou, Angers and Clisson (which is beautiful!). The oriental gardens just outside Cholet are well worth a visit too.
Not too far from the puy du fou so ideal location if you plan to visit the park. The family room was very clean / comfortable and we had all a good night sleep. Easy parking in front of the hotel. I strongly recommend the crêperie situated next to the hotel … it was perfect for our evening meal
Excellent host_ he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and help us. The property is also very well equipped , good layout and nicely furnished and in a good queit location with easy parking. It is also good location to access Puy Du fou
