The apartment was big than we expected and had everything that one might need. In fact in some cases it has more things like toys for kids, baking utensils etc. It was clean and nothing to complain about this. Location was also very good and with lot of nature around you. We came by car and there was proper parking space and gas station just in the neighbourhood.
Featuring garden views, Living History (adults only) offers accommodation with a terrace and is located 15 metres from the main plaza.

We love this place!!! Lea was wonderful and took us on a tour of all of the features. The room itself is amazing. It was built on the remains on a medieval mill; it has it's own private gardens and sitting area right next to the rushing waters of a salt brine waterway. Classy and beautiful antique decor everywhere! The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. We even had a hiccup checking out (our fault) and they were very understanding and worked with us to resolve everything. Would love to stay again!

The town is very beautiful but is very expensive and frequent. We went to nature afternoon and it was more interesting - nobody was around. And the some issue is with the town - also crowded around noon time.

Hallstatt is not to be missed!
Hallstatt is not to be missed! A beautiful, idyllic small town with postcard worthy views, wonderful people, and good restaurants. Though many do it as a day trip and it does get very busy, so do stay at least one night to really enjoy the evening and early morning hours by the lake and in the mountains.

Hallstatt was enchanting!
Hallstatt was enchanting! My favorite places were the picturesque lakeside views and the charming market square. I dined at a cozy local restaurant by the water, indulging in delicious regional cuisine. Getting around Hallstatt was fairly easy, with its compact size perfect for exploring on foot. Next time, I'd avoid the peak tourist hours to fully savor the tranquility of this gem

One of most beautiful village in the world.
One of most beautiful village in the world. It is just 2 hours plus away from Salzburg. You can plan a day trip. You will get best scenery and it is like childhood fairy tale place. I must praise I have a good dining experience in Simple 169. The owner is so friendly and food is good. Preferable if you can spend one night with light luggage. So that you can take photo with less crowded moment and take an unforgettable 7000 year old salt mine tour plus skywalk visit.

A beautiful enchanting fairy tale town.
A beautiful enchanting fairy tale town. Set on a lake framed by mountains.
It is very small easily done in a day or 2.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced
Salt mines worth doing 100% but give yourself a few hours as so much to see at the top!
Only down side shops and cafes open late … 10-10.30 am and close around 6.30-7 in the winter we got caught out with nowhere to eat or nothing to do in the evenings
Our stay at Ida Mitt Hotel in Hallstatt left us thoroughly impressed. The owner and staff went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring our comfort throughout. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful start to our days. The room's spaciousness and charming decor added to the hotel's appeal. Its central location in the heart of town made exploring Hallstatt incredibly convenient. Overall, Ida Mitt Hotel surpassed our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this enchanting destination.
Excellent location, unbeatable. Tom, the owner of the hotel who grew up at that very same house, was very helpful in his suggestions. The breakfast was excellent. My partner said the coffee was one of the best he's had during our Austria trip. The bar was very lively in the evening, too. Room was newly renovated. Comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower was excellent, amazing temperature control, better than some of the larger hotels we'd stayed in. There was cable TV including Netflix in the room.
The view was beautiful. The woman at the front desk was responsive. Breakfast was moderately satisfactory. The hotel is on the lakefront and has free private parking. It is not located in the closed historic part of Hallstatt.
We had to shorten our reservation, but there was no problem with paying only for the time of our stay. The owner did not cause us any difficulties in this regard.
The location of this hotel in Hallstatt is perfect, our room overlooked the lake, and we felt like we were in a fairytale everytime we looked out of our window. We were very warmly welcomed upon arrival, and loved our time here. The hotel is just over the road from the fantastic Simple café which do the best red chicken curry, and there is a supermarket about 5 minutes from the hotel.
The location of the hotel was incredible. Beautiful views, quiet and close to everything you want to see in Hallstatt! The breakfast was amazing--totally worth the breakfast charge and then some! The room we had was very spacious and comfortably appointed. We were there for three nights but easily could have stayed for weeks; plenty of room and the most comfortable bed!
The hotel is at the very heart of Hallstatt, in a quiet street. Room was big, spacious and super clean with a balcony with a fantastic view of the town, lake and mountains. Breakfast was super. Although there is no parking onsite, since centre Hallstatt is car free, we had a reduced fee parking with shuttle bus at a nearby parking P1, which was very conventient.
The location was great for the city of Hallstatt. It was off the city center but just a 5 min walk to most of the restaurants. There's a bakery almost right across the street from the apartment that has amazing baked goods. The studio apartment was large and had a ton of space to get around and open up our bags to make ourselves at home during our stay.
Seewirt Zauner was the perfect hotel to stay in Hallstatt. the remodel combines modern luxury with traditional Alpine accents. the staff was so kind. The best sleep I had during my stay in Austria. The beds were extremely comfortable, and to be lulled to sleep with the sounds of water rushing by was perfect.
- The location of the property is great. It’s only a few meters in from where the bus stop is.
- The hotel is just few meters away from the Hallstatt funicular which takes to a viewing platform and Salzwelten Hallstatt above.
- The room was decent, had balcony with views of the mountains.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Hallstatt. From the pier, you just have to walk 2 minutes to the hotel. The location brings great convenience to guests no matter where they want to go in the Hallstatt town. The room itself is spacious. Breakfast is good.
family suite superior - very comfortable clean. spacious master bathroom
fabulous breakfast with lake views - our kids kept themselves occupied outside, playing with the swans while we were finishing our breakfast
located right in the heart of Hallstatt
A wonderful hotel, beautiful interiors perfectly matching the Hallstatt atmisphere. The best location and a beautiful view from the window. The staff was very helpful. Everything at the highest level. Transport from the parking lot very efficient.
This hotel has the best location in Hallstatt as it in the main square, on the water, and next to the church. The staff were friendly and the restaurant with its outdoor terrace provided exquisite views. Highly recommend.
The staff are nice, the hotel is right in the heart of Hallstatt, everything is lovely and the garden for breakfast is super aweasome. I really enjoyed my time here. We had wonderful experience.
Everything at the hotel was perfect down to the last detail. second time coming. If I come to Hallstatt again, it is the only place I will stay. dinner was very nice, you can choose lake fish.
you feel like home, location is great
on the lake directly
