Really safe, well equipped (Nespresso machine and milk frother!), lots of space to relax and cook and eat together with large bedrooms (king size comfortable beds) and good wifi and aircon. Bathrooms were also great with good showers with soap, shampoo etc provided. Safe, secure arrangement for locking the front door and to have self check in and out.

The Frankie and Hugh's B&b is the perfect retreat! A very cozy and comfortble place... as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the warmth of the fireplace... the bed was so comfortable! Love old villa and nicely furnished in keeping with its style. Size was perfect and had everything I needed. Easy 25 min walk into town and close to four square for supplies. Nice quiet and peaceful location and very friendly host.
Self check in, clear instructions provided by host. Beautiful setting in the middle of hills with lots of animal around. Nice terrace with huge BBQ (didn’t use). Good location outside of the village where you can get all necessities and around 1 hour from Tongariro NP.
A great unit, we have never stayed in a holiday home village before, everyone was so friendly, the town was a short walk and the volcano was visible from our deck. We turned up a day early but were looked after and welcomed with humour and kindness. Also a great stop to do the laundry!
Perhaps the most comfortable bed we‘ve ever slept in. We slept like babies despite the fact that we had to get up at 5 am to catch a shuttle to Tongariro. We arrived late and were able to check in via a keybox. Aside from that it‘s more like a Youth Hostel. All needed facilities can be found. Power plugs are working. It‘s no luxury, but for the price a solid place to rest your limbs.
This place is incredible - the room and terrace are beautiful and the gardens are just stunning. There were so many unexpected extras and personal touches, a warm welcome and out of this world breakfast. It's tranquil and feels completely private and luxurious. I loved it.
The young guy working in the shop/reception area was wonderful - really cheerful, positive and welcoming to everyone. My bedroom, the kitchen and lounge were all comfortable and kept nice and clean. There's a smart TV with Netflix etc in the lounge, and multiple sources of heat to keep you cosy in this very cold village. Only a 5 minute walk from the train station/bus stop.
What a find, this truly delightful retreat away from traffic but close enough to pop into Taumaranui for an evening meal. Great food at the Jasmine Thai Restaurant with excellent service. Bradleys’ delivers on every score, beautiful property, attentive host, lovely gardens, very comfortable and luxurious accomodation including all the extras you could wish for, plus privacy.
