We stayed 1 week and were pleased. Levada Nova is out the back gate and down the stairs. Owners live next door. They cooked us beef skewers (on a stick) one night, which was a great treat. They also provided us with loads of fruit during out stay. Local cake and wine waiting for us upon arrival too. The place was as advertised and the treatment was a bonus. Smooth check in with the property manager Veronica (She was very nice too).

The house is phenomenal. The place is exactly listed in the photos. Everything was great and we had a great stay. Everything was clean and spotless. There's also a gate to the house which made it very secure. The address of the place does not show up in googlemaps so make sure to save the GPS coordinates. I would also strongly recommend having a car to drive up here as it's at the top of the hill. The roads are narrow and steep at times but that's the tradeoff to get a nice location and view.

Very good and spacious property in a nice location and with a very nice garden. Juan who was taking care of us was super nice, we got the welcoming and checking out gift and fruits basket. It is also a very convenient location to explore the island but stay out of the city buzz.

Location turned out to be good, quite a small village with some lovely friendly residents. Great pizza place opposite. Few nice bars and shops. Bit isolated, but great taxi sevice and some buses. The property itself was lovely. The annex (little house we called it) was ideal for the young couple in our party. Having mobility issues myself, the downstairs bedroom and adapted bathroom were ideal. The ramp access provided helped too. Garden and outdoor space were great. The views were fabulous. Lovely well equipped kitchen, with all mod cons. The place grew on me as the week wore on, pity we weren't there longer to try out the bbq facilities and enjoy the garden some more.

It is an amazing villa, with a wonderful view to the ocean .
The casa designed in modern clean architecture ,which together with the panoramic view of the nature around, gives kind of “Zen atmosphere” .
The place is really amazing, much better then the photos!
Miguel the owner use to work for many years at hotels, and the Villas are his dream come true. You can feel and see his professional touch in every detail at the villa which has 2 bedrooms, leaving room, wonderful shower, amazing swimming pool, hot tab at the garden, very well equipped kitchen and privet garden with plants and herbs that the guest can use for cooking or tee.
There are also many other useful facilities that you can use such as washing and drying machine, every thing is new and works perfect.
The bottom line is -5 stars experience.
Next time we will be in madeira we will be back to Casa da Vargem.🌺

The outdoor area was absolutely stunning and cannot be beaten. Incredible views over the banana plantation and sea. Very quiet tranquil location. The villa was fully equipped with everything you would need for a long holiday. The lounge area in particular was significantly better than the majority of equivalent villas. Would absolute love to return any time.
A luxurious penthouse apartment situated in a cozy village of Ponta do Sol, 30 kms from Funchal, 20 minutes by car. Ideal place to stay for hiking and driving around Madeira island. A very spacious and fresh apartment with super hosts. The place was even better than announced, super clean, well equipped with everything you need even for a long term stay. Local services (grocery store, restaurants, cafes, small shopping center) satisfy everyday needs.
I think this is the best place to stay in Madeira. the view is amazing. villa is comfortable. private pool was nice with overlooking to ocean and mountain.

Everything about this luxurious little oasis is superb. From it’s hidden location in Madeiras sunniest spot, to its gracious staff, amazing common areas, and comfortable rooms. Staying here feels more like visiting a (very rich) friends seaside retreat than staying in a regular hotel, and that is just what we loved about it. Hopefully we get to return here many times in the future, as I couldn’t think of a better place to chill out and relax, and Madeira itself has so much to offer.
