This place is beautiful, cute colorful houses between green garden with nice pool. Even though it was close to the street it was very quiet in the area. All rooms had separate bathrooms, beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. I definitely recommend it for groups and couples who want to enjoy peace and quiet. There is a big parking lot to accommodate multiple cars. Location is good providing you have a rental car since public transportation is not available there.

The family gave us the best hospitality. Very friendly and nice people The flat is comfortable and has everything for a long stay. Parking for the car and very good WiFi. Nice view and very clean. Easy to visit beach and the mountain.

The house is new and comfortable. Graciela was in communication with us before arrival and waited for us and received us with food in the fridge and fruits from her garden, explaining everything about the house and places to visit around the island. Really sweet welcome!

We stayed 1 week and were pleased. Levada Nova is out the back gate and down the stairs. Owners live next door. They cooked us beef skewers (on a stick) one night, which was a great treat. They also provided us with loads of fruit during out stay. Local cake and wine waiting for us upon arrival too. The place was as advertised and the treatment was a bonus. Smooth check in with the property manager Veronica (She was very nice too).

United Kingdom
This is without doubt the most impressive villa we have stayed in, for the price, in Europe. The location, the views, the huge lounge, the superb kitchen and the ultra modern bathrooms, are all wonderful. Short walk to restaurants but a bit of a hill on the way back. We liked the fish restaurants in Madelana do Mar better. Easy access to the main road to Funchal and to the beautiful walks on the western levadas and Paul da Serra. There is some traffic on the road to the villa but generally so peaceful. We had great food and drink on the two patios, one gets the morning sun and one gets the evening sun. The host contacted us twice to check all was okay, a perfect holiday. We will make this our 'go to' villa for future visits.

It's not often that you don't want to leave at all on the last day :) A very spacious house, with various and different spaces to choose from for rest, work, breakfast, lunch, dinner, barbecue... A great place to spend the evening and night after an active walk on the levadas, as well as to sip espresso while admiring the sea view after a swim in the pool early morning. I look forward to returning for a rest or for a workation
