Villa Catanho is simply a cozy, functional and completely devoid of artificial splendour family estate, where you can feel at home. The house is surrounded by a banana orchard, but passion fruits, figs and papayas also grow there. It is a real green oasis. There is a driveway for cars and a second, separate exit to the street. Nearby there is a bakery with tasty pastries and excellent coffee. So if you value a quiet holiday away from the city noise, you like the croaking of frogs in the evening and birds singing in the morning, this place is the right place for you. In addition, Adelino and his noble parents are extremely kind and helpful in everything. We had a wonderful holiday here with friends.

The pictures show an amazing house with a beautiful view. The pictures do not do it justice. Sitting on the balcony at any time of day was spectacular. It was incredible to be so close to everything and feel like we had so much privacy at the same time. We will be back. Lousie was so responsive with any questions we had, was always happy to offer recommendations, and just a wonderful host in general. We had a terrific visit.

I loved how clean and comfort was the apartment and also how easy and near it was to get to the center . We had the best stay with the amazing view. The hosts were very kind and nice too. It was really easy to get the keys and drop off the keys.We would definitely like to comeback next time.

The place looks recently renewed so everything is super clean,new and tidy, no mould (which is important on such a humid island)!! Washing machine is very convenient, plus there are liquid capsules for it. Plenty of towels to use. Its very spacious for 2 people, we found it comfortable! Our host,Luis was super friendly and helpful with everything, thank you again! Late check in wasnt a problem (for a little extra charge).
