Spacious and well equipped, air conditioning was available which is good for hot summers. Location was great - 3 min walk to the lake and very close to restaurants and convenience stores, although it is on the main road so you can hear cars passing by. Host was very responsive.

Beautiful cabin in a wonderful environment! It really felt nice to be alone deep inside that gorgeous nature! And the cabin is perfect to feel that atmosphere completely! It had everything you could need, it was -10C degrees outside but we found it very warm when we arrived. Great experience!

Beautiful log cabin! Great amount of space. We loved the design. Loft room was lovely. Loved the tatami mat bedroom. Balcony at the top was also gorgeous with views of Lake Toya.

Wonderful cottage at an amazing location! If you like nature, silence, art and friendly local people, we recommend this side of lake Toya. If you prefer entertainment (for kids), shopping and luxury, you have to be at the other side of the lake. We loved to cook in the well equipped kitchen with fresh vegetables from the farm nearby and products from the lovely farmers matket in the village. We really felt at home in this beautiful little house, and would love to come back here!
Was a nice quiet hostel by Lake Toya and only a minute walk to the village and lakefront. I went when it was quiet in the town so I had a whole room to myself. There’s also a restaurant on the bottom floor which is open until late and the staff are very friendly had a nice long conversation with them and felt very welcomed! Good facilities too: shower, bath, fridge and sauna!
The most luxurious place, among the 4 hotels we stayed in Hokkaido. Spacious room, friendly welcoming staff. Met a couple of staff from Myanmar who speak good English. A new hotel, opened just about 6 months ago. The inroom onsen was great. Convenient location to Lake Toya sights. The whole hotel is an art gallery. Very tastefully decorated. The Tannoy speakers in the lounge are something to listen to. The live harpist performance was very good.
Good location, in middle of the village. We could watch firework from our room, cos it started right in front of the hotel. The only complain is that hotel a bit outdated.
The cabin had the original old rustic look and yet the facilities were up to date. Complete amenities. The bathroom was very clean and the views from the balcony and tub were amazing.
The hosts were friendly, pleasant, and very attentive to our needs. Meals were carefully prepared and the servings were very generous.
It was a magical stay at Kitutuki! Highly recommended for those who are looking for a peaceful retreat.

Amazing! What a view! The rooms are spacious and offer the best views on the lake, even from the bathroom. Everything is very clean and the owners are super kind.
We drove a car so going out to the village for dinner was no problem. Great value for money.
