We were a bit nervous as this Villa didn't have many reviews but it was truly amazing. We loved everything! We enjoyed our stay here so much that we extended it by another two days .
We used the villa's private taxi driven by Eka to pick us up from Ubud to arrive at the Villa . He was outstanding and stopped at a few places on the way at our request for some sight seeing and he was so accommodating. When we arrived at the villa he gave us the key and then gave us our privacy. Eka and his lovely wife were always happy to drive us around as needed and was very helpful.
The host Jay is also amazing and very helpful. If you needed anything at all, you just sent him a message on whatsapp and he would do his best. You could also order food from his shop and have it delivered which was amazing. My partner and I have a love of fried fast food and wanted to eat an assortment in the pool while watching Netflix and they made it happen.
The villa is amazing. The landscaping is outstanding, the facilities such as the kitchen are basic but enough to get you through... let's face it you will not be cooking apart from reheating amazing food that are left overs as a snack. It's quiet and remote. To set expectations, you will hear Roosters, Geckos will come into the villa's common areas, you will fell the occasional earthquake or two and it is hot and humid as fudge. Just jump into to pool while watching some netflix drinking a cocktail and cool off. This is what I remember about Bali a long time ago where areas like Ubud and Kuta has changed so much. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone.
Eka is an amazing driver and supported us the whole visit. He is such a nice guy and provides and outstanding service at a very very reasonable price for tours of the north of the island. It is so nice not to have someone in Bali consistently trying to ween every cent out of you.

From the architecture to the people to the food, everything about The Tiing did not disappoint! We chose The Tiing for a romantic place to relax for our honeymoon and spent 11 nights feeling utterly pampered!
Room no. 3 had a plunge pool overlooking the ocean and was kept immaculately clean and well stocked by the constantly-smiley housekeeping team.
The chef and attentively friendly staff in the restaurant made sure we experienced the beautiful freshly caught fish and local ingredients and we enjoyed everything we ate!
The reception staff were incredibly helpful and always happy to see us, they genuinely couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed.
Thank you to you all, we will never forget you!

This hotel in northern Bali is really great. The food is amazing, and there's a big garden with fruits. They have two swimming pools and two yoga gyms that you can use anytime. They provide snorkeling equipment and also helped us with organizing motorbikes and diving. Also there is a traditional market located within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, where you can buy local sweets, fresh fish, a great place to visit to feel the real Bali! I definitely recommend to visit this part of the island at least once!

It is so beautiful, so well thought through and just blends into the surroundings. The setting is magnificent and the rooms are breathtaking. We stayed in the villas with the mountain and ocean view with the splash pool. The views!

The house is situated beachfront in the middle of an authentic Balinese village. There were no hawkers and the property felt very secure. The staff was extremely attentive. All meals were of high quality and freshly prepared with lunch and dinner ordered 24 hours in advance. The Balinese coffee was plentiful and of high quality. This property suits people who do not need fancy shops, restaurants or bars nearby. The Alam Anda resort nearby was good for a drink, a swim and their duck special for a change of scenery and cuisine.
We enjoyed the silence and private villa. Coral reef was super! Villa was spacious. It was nice that hostess visited us. In the morning we saw the sunrise and in the evening sunset 😊
The upgraded me to the villas because some parts of the hotel are under restoration. The villa was wonderful I really love it, have my own swimming pool and the food they serve is delicious.

Amazing property with beautiful Villas and clean private pools. The rooms and bathroom were also clean and cozy. We had an health emergency and were greatly helped by the staff. The staff in general was really nice, always smiling and helping.
