Small Ryokan. Well located near the sea. Excellent food. Nice room and wonderful Onsen on the roof with a sea-view. on the evening, we listened to the Lady owner telling us her own story surviving the 2011 tsunami and helping dozen of people the following days. Her story was really emotional and she is a true heroine. I am glad we met her and I am very happy to spend one night in this hotel to help local economy.

One of my favourite ryokan I've ever stayed at - incredibly warm welcome from all staff, beautiful location, incredible backstory and an okami-sama who has become a good friend. The bay is beautiful, the outdoor hotbath deeply relaxing and I will be back again soon.

Beautiful ryokan, rebuilt after the 2011 tsunami as part of the Kamaishi recovery. Inspiring stories from the owner, a very warm welcome, beautiful hotbaths, and stunning location. Food was great too.
