The location is very convenient 10 minutes away from the train/bus station. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfy with a vast bathroom too. The heating was great during those cold days. It was nice to have a little fridge in the room, and great to have access to a microwave, dishes and cutlery.

Bath city centre is a short 20-minute walk from the property. Alternatively, we offer guests use of the Boating Station, explore the river by punting rowing or canoeing. The boat hire is a seasonal business, open on selected days.

Lulu and Sarah were gracious hosts. We looked forward to regular visitations from Meme, the 4 legged estate manager. The secluded location, on the water, yet very accessible to the town centre made for an ideal location. The on-site restaurant is excellent, with a free boat ride to downtown at 9:30 each morning.

This was our first visit to Bath from New Zealand and we loved this place. Everything from the provided breakfasts to the lovely staff and room was very much appreciated. There's food shops and eateries nearby and it's about a 20 minute walk from the main town and shops.

Just a 15-minute drive from Bath, The Rose and Crown Bath has a terrace for eating and drinking outside, free WiFi, and free parking on site. Bristol city centre can be reached in around 35 minutes by car.

The room definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was super clean (I am very hard to please when it comes to cleanliness). I felt the bed was very comfortable. Good care was given to little details available in the room such as very fluffy towels, body lotion, teas, coffee and biscuits. We happened to stay at the accommodation on a Monday to Tuesday, on the pubs closed day, so I can't comment about the noise levels. One thing which wasn't completely evident while booking was that the cooked breakfast wasn't available on our particular days since the pub was closed but I only noticed after booking - having said that, the Rose and Crown were be very kind to leave us many goodies in the fridge in the entryway. There was a good selection of cereal, yoghurts, packaged croissants, gluten free alternatives and fruit. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation!

Possibly the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed in; the staff are brilliant, the rooms are clean and so well thought out and the location is slap bang in the middle

Fantastic location in Bath, check in staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, the toiletries in the bathroom are far superior than the normal budget hotels. Also, having a mini fridge is handy, I wished all hotels would provide this. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and even had local produce and staff cleaned the tables quickly.

The location is a winner. The staff is quite business-like but friendly and attentive. They even gave us our rooms four hours prior to the real check in time and we really appreciate it. We were attended to by a short haired European lady at the reception who was extremely polite and helpful. I wish I had gotten her name to leave her a positive review. Other staff is also very good! They made us feel right at home. It’s a budget hotel but gives a feeling of much higher levels of comfort than we expected from it.

For a budget hotel this ticks all the boxes - great location in the centre of town close to shops and restaurants. Room is compact but perfectly fine for just somewhere to sleep on a weekend to the Christmas markets. Very clean. Staff friendly would totally recommend

Excellent location. Good price compared to other places in the city centre. The 24hr front desk is handy. Use of the gym free on weekdays is a bonus. A tap and sink in the room was very handy. A hot drink vending machine is near reception - 5c for hot water, £2 for tea or coffee.

We were in Bath for my sons graduation, so we splashed out a bit and rented the apartment, rather than a budget hotel. The location was great, just round the corner from the crescent, with local shops restaurants and a friendly pub all within a couple of hundred yards. Parking was relatively easy once we had unloaded, I just drove round to the nearby car park and left it for the weekend. City centre was a pleasant 10/15 minute walk away.
