Perfect location two minute walk from the historical district, 15 minute walk from the train station. Staff were really nice and helpful despite mild language barrier. Bathrooms were excellent. Stayed in a dorm which was very spacious. My cubicle had a window and felt like a private room. The heated mattress was a bonus. Breakfast was good and abundant. The bar looked really quirky though I didn’t really spend time there.
The room is huge and very comfortable! It looks a bit dark on the photos, but it's so much better then that! It's right in the center of the old village, but you won't hear anything from the outside really. The seating area is really nice and we loved the provided breakfast. The kitchen is beautiful and convenient as well. The bathroom is really spacious.
Our reservation included a surprise high-tea in the afternoon which was very tasty, and a breakfast box in the morning. The lobby is very spacious and tastifully conceived/decorated. The personnel was very friendly. The room was spacious and the hotel location was perfect for exploring the ancient city neighborhood (3 min. walk).
This was the best accommodation we stayed in in Japan. Every little detail was perfect and the house was beautiful. The beds were very comfy, every fitting, dish and amenity was premium quality and it was a perfect location in the old town to explore the area. The lovely staff delivered us fruit and bread each day for breakfast and gave us the option on whether or not we'd want to be disturbed for cleaning. I would love to go back as it was a truly relaxing place.
Didn’t expect a lot from the stay, but actually very enjoyed it! The hotel has its charm and, what is unusual for business hotels, left special memories. The hotel is not so new, but clean and taken good care off. To make the space more lively, they decorated it with hotel’s characters, and it’s real cute! There is no breakfast venue, but they offer free bread and buns in the morning, and all the additional services are also very thoughtful.
provide buffer style breakfast and hotel twin room has more space than the other hotel.
Room very spacious and comfortable. Satisfactory breakfast.
Very close to the station. The capsule room has space for you, all your luggage, and you still have walking space. If you need a towel or a pyjama replacement you can just go and ask. The female onsen has a safety code, which makes you have your bath more relaxed. There were different types of baths in the onsen, and also a sauna. Will definitely come back if I happen to be in the area.
The hotel is in an old cotton mill so the surrounds are very interesting. The room size means you can truly relax, spread out and regroup before the next part of your tour. The blonde wood trimmings and light colours were not only pleasing to the eye but gave the room an open feel. Spacious toilet, wash area and bath gave our room real luxury. Our best stay in four weeks in Japan.
Hotel is right next to the main station, entrance within a shopping center with some food options. The cabin was spacious enough for the luggage and had all the amenities. The shared facilities were great, including the large public bathroom with sauna and cold water bath! One of the days I had access to the open air bath as well; it might be swapped on specific dates? I did not try the breakfast or gym. There's a free welcome drink on the day of arrival but unfortunately I was not informed and I missed on it.
