Osen bathtub is perfect. Roomy and relaxing. Shower gel etc are good quality. Room is big and well designed. Bed is comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Easy access to temple and deer park.

Beautifully designed hotel with tasteful accent of Japanese wood. Lovely facilities with spacious rooms and a lovely restaurant that serves breakfast, dinner and has also a small self serving bar for an aperitif. However the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Absolutely lovely, helpful and professional. We had the pleasure to be checked-in by Rie and she was absolutely brilliant. So lovely and helped us settle rapidely so we could be ready for a wedding photoshoot we had on the day.
The onsen is spectacular and is worth a stay for that alone. In addition, the tatami throughout the building adds a great relaxing vibe to the hotel. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The hotel is well decorated and breakfast is excellent (although expensive at 2300 yen per person). Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to base a Nara trip. I would return in a heartbeat.
Our host was lovely. Accommodation was spacious. Our futons and pillows were the most comfortable we have had on our trip! Great to be able to do washing/access dryer (small extra fee). Our breakfast - we opted for Japanese style - was absolutely wonderful l! So delicious. Thank you.
Spacious room, you get a full bath tub in this hotel. Most hotels in Japan have a half a tub. We had comfortable beds, the deers wander right in front of our balcony. Lovely breakfast included in your accommodation. The staff helped us fill in Japanese forms to transfer our luggage to our next hotel.
The traditional room was amazing and very spacious, with very clean facilities and a small balcony for a relaxing bath outside. The onsen upstairs was very clean and very inviting with exceptional facilities. The staff were amongst the most friedly people we met on our travels around Japan providing us with a guide on popular routes to explore around Nara and offering additional services such as taking a photo of us and a free gift bag. The traditional breakfast was incredible, providing us with a very memorable experience.
Comfortable, modern and spacious hotel and room in a central location a few minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The hotel sits conveniently at the border between Nara Park with its great temples, and the area of shops and restaurants around the train station. It sits besides a busy road, but with the windows closed this is no bother at all and our stay was quiet and relaxed. We recommend the breakfast, both the Japanese and the Western options are great. Staff were great, professional, very helpful and warm.
Great location as we were travelling by train. Room was lovely, very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic (probably the best ever) and there were ramen noodles provided in the evenings. The baths were lovely - hot , cold and an outside bath. Also sauna. Sadly my husband had too many tattoos to use it. They provided covers for my 2 smallish tattoos.
Dinner and breakfast was delicious. The hot tub was very relaxing. Very peaceful setting amongst the forest.
The room was nice with comfy beds. The staff (especially 1 female front desk staff) were friendly. Not everyone spoke English, but they tried. The spa was OK but I would have liked a sauna and a place to put my towel down on the inside of the bath. The breaky was comprehensive but I wish there were more Western style dishes -- in particular a fried egg.
