It is located 3.5 km from Bath Spa Train Station and offers private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.3 km from The Roman Baths.

Due to its location there are no eateries in the immediate vicinity but the host supplied fresh bread, milk and condiments for a good breakfast which we very much appreciated. The apartment was fitted out nicely and all the furniture was comfortable. We didn't use it but I noticed there were reading books and games and toys available. Even though the apartment is attached to the host house it is very private and not noisy. Would stay again depending on laundry options.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bath Garden Apartment. The host Sue was very communicative. Arranged to leave keys in a safe box for us so it was nice and easy to get in when we arrived. The apartment was lovely and clean and everything was included to make for a nice stay. The location was excellent with free parking at the front and rear of the property. Bus stop just outside on the main street with a very short journey into the city centre of Bath. Buses very frequent, even on a bank holiday. It was also lovely to have the garden with smashing views across to the city.

We had such a comfortable stay at the Paragon Townhouse. As a group of eight girls celebrating our friend’s hen party, we chose the Paragon due to its proximity to the centre, size, charm, and welcoming hosts that were willing to accommodate. The location is amazing and a short walk away from all the action, with a small convenience store about a two minute walk away and a large Waitrose around five minutes down the road. Alternatively, we chose to book an Asda shopping delivery ahead of time, which was delivered to our door on our arrival. The hosts were very accommodating and in contact before our stay to ask about bed preferences (you can choose to have the rooms made up with single or double beds) and what colour milk we’d like for teas and coffees. On arrival, we found the house was stocked up with plenty of tea bags, coffee, biscuits, Prosecco, florentines, Easter eggs - you name it. Such gorgeous little treats from lovely hosts. The town house has many floors, with each room charmingly decorated, including many original features - which are an adorable touch. The kitchen is very well equipped, with just about every appliance, pot, pan and kitchen tool you could ever name. The Paragon is a perfect home away from home, close to amazing restaurants if you choose to venture out or perfectly set up for a dinner party or games night with friends if you prefer to stay in. All of the rooms were made up with pristine linens and the comfiest fluffy duvets, pillows, and mattresses. Everyone mentioned how well they slept. There were plenty of towels and toiletries in each bathroom, and just the right amount of showers and mirrors to keep a group of nine girls satisfied! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Paragon Townhouse, and would recommend to any group of friends or family looking to make their stay in Bath special.

Property was beautiful inside and out. Love the history of the place. Beds were super comfy. Love the free toiletries as well. Reception was lovely and gave us a tour of the hotel and some key information about the spa opening times etc. The staff were also very good with room service, bring up fresh milk etc. Had my first ever massage, made me feel nice and relaxed, pool and sauna after was a nice bonus! Will definitely be coming again.

The breakfast was your standard everything from cooked to mini pastries. Coffee was nice and so were the juices. Facilities are great, we had some spa treatments and it was one of my favorite experiences with a full-body massage including a facial I was reborn :) the outdoor jacuzzi was lovely also has a nice range of saunas even a salt room. The Hotel is decent, bed was comfy. The bar is worth a visit, pretty funky decor.

The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the hills of Bath. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious enough. The bed was comfortable and duvet was warm. There was a coffee machine in the room which was a nice surprise. The wellness area was clean and lovely. We had a very relaxing time in the gym and the pool area. We particularly enjoyed the waterjets in the pool, it was better than a massage.

Hotel location is excellent on the royal crescent, probably best located hotel in Bath. Very quiet but still central and walkable to everything. Great breakfast and pretty gardens. We enjoyed our treatments at the spa, which has good facilities - a nice saltwater pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub.

From arrival to check out we had the perfect stay! The room was large and well equipped with beautiful views over the rolling country side. The Duty Manager went out of his way to show us our room and all of the Hotel facilities. Dinner was perfectly cooked and severed as was breakfast. The spa, sauna and steam room ensured we had a great afternoon relaxing accompanied with a couple of glasses of bubbles!! Thank you to the Hotel's team for making our stay so memorable - we will be back.

We had an exceptional experience in Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights just before Christmas, and atmosphere was spectacular. All the facilities were great, including a comfy bed for our dog in the room. Breakfast was amazing, it included a la carte main and buffet. It was noticeable that spa facilities weren't new, but everything was clean and well-maintained. Spa treatments and massage were great, a must-have. Definitely recommend to try Afternoon Tea, great value for money, especially after relaxing morning in the spa.

The very good breakfast was à la carte + buffet. We appreciated the very clean Spa facilities (multiple saunas, cold room, etc) The best was the outdoor pool witch has Bath's thermal water (I could't see a description / composition of the thermal water). We were like those Japanese macaques (snow monkeys) relaxing in the hot springs :))) The front garden is great and quiet. Walking time to center Bath = approx. 15-20 min

Breakfast was very good apart from first morning when they seemed to be understaffed, thereafter it was fine. We liked the lounge area for relaxing and reading newspaper in the mornings. Also the surrounding gardens were nice to walk in without having to venture to far. We had a luxury twin room overlooking the gardens which was both very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful at all times.
