Spacious room & great location, fantastic breakfast choices, downstairs around the corner in the restaurant, accommodating most food tolerances. Supermarkets and cafes just around the corner. Bus just out front. Able to leave suitcases early in storage lockers for 2 euro. Needed assistance as had no change, able to ring reception in the restaurant for assistance.

The hotel was amazing: from the big room with lots of commodities (nespresso, tea, slippers, bathrobes, etc) to things like, an umbrella, sewing kit, skincare products (moisturizer, cotton pads, etc). The view from the room to the lake was amazing. The breakfast was really tasty with a great view and had a variety of choices. We also used the free spa which included sauna and other facilites. Lastly, we booked a fondue dinner at the huts/cabins and was a really nice experience, great service, food and views. Definitely recommend!

The room was wonderfully spacious and the beds and linen excellent! And what a magnificent view! There’s a very personal feel everywhere in the hotel - great fitness ans spa and fabulous breakfast too. Very professional and discreet service make this hotel to a perfect place to relax and feel good. The fondue-chinoise we enjoyed in their cosy and class restaurant was an event in itself. I would return to the Hermitage with pleasure, maybe in summer next time, to enjoy the lake.

The staff here was super nice. I love the rooms (we stayed in both rooms for two and three). They were not spacious but larger than most of the places we've stayed. I really enjoyed the breakfast there. Good food and relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of bath/ shower rooms. It's a little away from the main train station, but there are a lot of buses coming like every 5 mins so I didn't feel like it was inconvenient.

Breakfast was great, the staff was hard to reach by phone: reception, Concierge, and SPA- they did not answer. Reception answered 2/5 times we called and never called back. The room was on the small side, the view was fantastic. The dog received treats, a bed, and bowl of water. The spa was crowded and only 2 saunas for 2 people were available. We only managed to get in 1 time in the space of 2 hours. The staff forgot to put the champagne in our room, but brought it in later. C'est la vie! It was a busy weekend.

The room I had at Waldstätterhof was very pleasant and spacious, a nice feel of luxury (with a balcony). The hotel is right next to the train station and at an easily walkable distance from the old town and famous bridges of Luzern. I could park my car in the courtyard, which was comfortable for a reasonable price. The restaurant had quite some vegetarian options, which was great for me, arriving late hungry. Also breakfast was very nice. Personnel was kind and helpful, also when I left stuff in my bathroom after checking out.
