All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The property stayed true to its branding as a boutique hotel - very chic and it made us feel at home. Our room was superb! Room amenities were complete and it had a fantastic view of the Neuschwanstein Castle. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! I wish we stayed longer.

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

In winter, a cross-country ski run is right outside Gutshof zum Schluxen. The nearest ski area is 12 km away. Very convinient self-service desk with food and drinks. Super lovely location.
