Just as you open the door a sense of space and light fills your soul. It’s spacious and clean. Really clean. Much better than advertised. I was overjoyed after being on the road for almost two months and find such a gorgeous place that felt like home. Wish I had booked it for more days. There is a bakery downstairs which is wonderful. Best soup ever!!! These are the pics I took before I left the property.

The view from the lodge is superb. In the afternoon, after the cable doesn't run anymore, you basically have the mountain for yourself. It gives you the opportunity to really disconnect and enjoy nature. Every moment the view is changing as the sun rises, clouds move or fog creeps in. It is easy to do some hikes around, longer or shorter (depending on preferences). The lodge is comfortable and nicely equipped, staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hands down best hotel in Germany. It is so family friendly! An indoor pool with a slide, a sauna, a giant outside playground, a trampoline, soccer nets, and a closed off safe area with riding scooters/tractors. Our room was super cozy and VERY nice! Best breakfast we have eaten in Germany and best hotel breakfast ever (out of about 40 hotel stays across the world). It sounds over the top, but I promise this place was truly wonderful. We also had dinner at the restaurant and even when they were packed full of people, the service was fast, kind and delicious. Will absolutely pick this hotel again when we can!!!!!
