AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa has a wellness area which includes a sauna. The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at the accommodation. Very nice and cozy hotel. Unfortunately we stayed only for one night. Will come back for sure.

All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The hotel is new and very comfortable. Friendly staff helps to reserve Neuschwanstein tickets. Hotel also offers free snacks in the lobby. We enjoy the stay so much and would love to come back again.

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

In winter, a cross-country ski run is right outside Gutshof zum Schluxen. The nearest ski area is 12 km away. We enjoyed the stay in Gutzhof zum Schluxen very much since it's located in a calm valley right next to a farm but still not too far from more touristic places such as Neuschweinstein castle or the town of Füssen. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We liked that we could order fresh Brezels for breakfast and in the evening we enjoyed the Spielzimmer where we played ping-pong. The accomodation also offers fresh coffee and tea, drinks, snacks or even pizza, which you can buy anytime during the day. Overall, I'd really recommend this beautiful place and will gladly return some day.

Awake each morning to stunning views of the mountains. There is furthermore an extensive garden and your children can be kept entertained at the play area. Clean, calm and comfortable. We’ve stayed unfortunately only for one night. Pleasant and helpful staff.

It stands in a quiet residential area of Füssen, a 15-minute drive from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. Incredible breakfast. I have seldom had such a great breakfast. The staff was lovely, the rooms were perfectly clean and well equipped, and there was a large balcony. Also, it was very quiet.

Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. Very nice hotel, great room, excellent breakfast, very cosy atmosphere in the breakfast room, loved the beautiful dishes and furniture! :) The surrounding area is very beautiful, both nature and city nearby.
