All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. We loved everything. The staff were second to none and so was the facility and location. The staff are so helpful and also willing to arrange tours of some of the castles, etc.

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

In winter, a cross-country ski run is right outside Gutshof zum Schluxen. The nearest ski area is 12 km away. Beautiful Gutshof set in a beautiful area. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Good self-catering facilities. We hiked to the Alpsee and then to the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles through some beautiful forests.
