So much to say positive about the property; check in was straightforward, the property was beautiful inside, the facilities and little extras were fantastic, location was ideal for getting out of Reykjavik and also for popping into the city, the beds and bedding were really comfortable and the view was spectacular. We would recommend it in a heartbeat.

It was spacious modern, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Easy to find parking on the main roads. Airport transfer bus stops just infront of the property. Sif is right next to the foss hotel. There are some walkable food options around the area including the food hall at Hlemmur. SIF is a self catering apartment so while I did not meet any staff, they were easy to contact and very helpful in letting us know where we could get fresh towels or pillows at the property.
The best thing about the guesthouse is its location. It is within walking distance of all the main sights in Reykjavik and the BSI terminal. It also has a self-catering kitchen which is useful if you're travelling on a budget.
Clean room and clean bathroom, very centrally located at the Laugavegur street in Reykjavik. There is a possibility to open the (roof) window and put a shade over it, so it's easy for sleeping. There is a small kitchen - so easy if you want to do some self-catering (which we didn't do, but it's easy if you wish so).
This place is a college used mainly by international university students. Rooms are rented out when they are not there. It therefore has excellent facilities for self-catering, like extensive kitchens with absolutely everything you need (including basic food items) and a big laundry. It’s also very close to the university and its reasonably priced cafés and grills - quite an advantage in pricey Reykjavik.
The hotel rooms are like self catering studios, fantastically designed to allow the feeling of a suite. The kitchenette allowed us to buy our own breakfasts and lunches, The layout and facilities also made 'working from home' options comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the location was just off the main square in an old historic building.

This is a characterful and quirky town house with wonderful art, decor and rooms. The location is central, adjacent to the cathedral and some wonderful places to eat. The mother and daughter team are on hand to help and welcome you. It's self-catering kitchen is excellent and there's free coffee.
It's a nice straight walk from the city centre. About 25 mins. It was clean, safe, quiet and very comfortable. Nice little cafe opposite for coffee and pastries. As it was self catering, it was also very convenient to buy a few basic items and use the kitchenette. The room was very warm even with the heating off and -6 degrees outside. There was also a lovely mountain view from the room. Very cool. I could easily have stayed a few more days.
