Stunning views, warm and cosy, friendly staff and well equipped kitchen. Stayed here before walking the Paparoa Great walk . We left our car there and when we walked out after 3 days we could walk straight to the hostel. Would recommend staying before and after the walk.

Incredible stay in an architectural gem, a true hidden treasure in the forest. Inspired build that made us feel at one in nature. Gorgeous home with a well equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable bedding and views for days. Made to feel like we were sleeping in the tree tops! Private yet easy to access and find. Wood fireplace at the heart of the home kept everything warm and cosy. Cooking here at night was a real treat! Short (beautiful) stroll to incredible beach and only a couple of minutes drive from pancake rocks. Highly recommend!

Room was quiet and away from other guests. Short walk to the beach with a great sunset lookout (just have to watch out for the path on the way back). Walk in shower with good hot water and pressure. Roomy and large kitchen area. Just outside the main township but close enough for short drive to get dinner.

The resort is in the forest. Quiet and nice. I booked a dorm room but they put me in a double bed room which is gorgeous. The kitchen and bathroom are nice and clean. Plenty of share space for friends to chat and dine together. Definitely recommend it for staying more than one night

Beautiful setting surrounded by bush a short walk from the Truman Track and a very short drive from Pancake Rocks. There was a nice communal sitting area and a well stocked kitchen. Our room was plain but comfortable.

The Nikau studio was truly a treehouse with a spacious deck high up in the lush West Coast bush. Private location a few minutes drive from Punakaiki. Wekas and birdsong. Well furnished kitchenette for self-catering. The Miro room is an accessible room on the ground level- choose the Rimu or Nikau rooms for the treehouse experience. Would stay here again. .
