Set in a charming 1690s building on a peaceful city island, this design hotel is 300 metres from Moderna Museum. All rooms offer flat-screen TV and park or sea views. This is a beautiful hotel with a calm, peaceful vibe. All staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are well appointed and the food (breakfast and dinner) is top quality and delicious. I had a sea/garden view and it was lovely. Location is great and easy to get around by walking (or there is a bus every 20 mins from outside the hotel)

Dating back to 1852, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Gothenburg Central Station. It offers a peaceful inner courtyard, free WiFi and free coffee/tea and homemade cakes each afternoon. It was a very cozy hotel with a very nice, old school atmosphere. I walked everywhere from the hotel so I would say for someone active and enjoys working, it is a great location. The single room is indeed perfect for a short solo trip.

Room was very comfortable -- totally soundproof, great shower, plenty of tea and coffee provided. Impressive buffet breakfast with something for everyone.
