The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The staff was very accommondating and provided free pick up from the station. Upon arrival, they showed us to our room, which was clean and had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. During the dinner, the staff made futon beds for us, which my family all loved to sleep on. The dinner and breakfast we served were fantactic in taste and appearance. The staff even introduced the food to us before we started.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. It closes to Kawaguchico bridge in walking distance.

The ryokan will provide guests with air-conditioned units offering a desk, a coffee machine, a fridge, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a hot tub. Guests can have wine or champagne and chocolates or cookies delivered to their room. At the ryokan, all units have bed linen and towels. Service was impeccable. The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.

Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. Great service from staff, extremely attentive and made you feel at home. The location was also super convenient and central to the area.

The ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Lake Yamanaka. Both Fujikyu Highland Amusement Park and Gotemba Premium Outlets Shopping Mall are within a 30-minute drive. Our time at Teiensaryo was incredible! It's a family-run place and they were incredibly generous with their time and other gifts. The onsen facilities were well-equipped and easy to understand. The highlight was definitely the room. The view over the garden and koi pond was unmatched - I even got to feed them! Highly recommend. Cheers from Australia 🦘

Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding, traditional rooms come with a TV and a low table. Guests can try on yukata robes and sip a cup of green tea. Bathroom and toilet are shared. Everything was amazing in this place. Very traditional Japanese house and all the amenities are great! You have to try the ofuro… magnificent!!! The hosts are an old and very sweet couple! They’re super kind and amazing people. Please don’t hesitate to come here is absolutely worth it!!!

Toilets are shared, and there are spacious shared baths that can be used for private use. Each room is air-conditioned and has a TV, an electric kettle and a fridge with a minibar. I liked everything. We loved the Ryokan design, the view of Fuji by the window, the onsen is great too, and Im thankful to the hospitality of the owners. The meals are also special. We loved our dinner and breakfast. Those are truly special. Had a real great experience of staying at a Ryokan and im fully thankful to the owners.
