Fujikawaguchiko Onsen Konanso 5 stars

Fujikawaguchiko Onsen-kyo, Fujikawaguchiko

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room with an open air bath. It is great for couples. The room was clean and spacious. You can use the open air bath as many times as you like and with privacy. We'll never forget the beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our room. The hotel also has a footbath on the rooftop and you can see Mt Fuji and Lake Fuji Kawaguchiko on a clear day. It was also lovely being served green tea on arrival in our rooms. We loved our stay.

Lovely hotel! Had a shuttle car take me from the train station. Getting around the lake from there is very nice, either with bus, or your own transportation method. The staff were really nice! The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and big traditional services. My room was very nice with a lovely view. I also used the public bath and it was lovely, looks nice, great view, well maintained and clean.

The ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Lake Yamanaka. Both Fujikyu Highland Amusement Park and Gotemba Premium Outlets Shopping Mall are within a 30-minute drive. Our time at Teiensaryo was incredible! It's a family-run place and they were incredibly generous with their time and other gifts. The onsen facilities were well-equipped and easy to understand. The highlight was definitely the room. The view over the garden and koi pond was unmatched - I even got to feed them! Highly recommend. Cheers from Australia 🦘
