Minamifurano

Tokachidake Onsen, Kami-furano
All rooms feature nature views, a TV and a fridge, while Japanese-style rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, traditional futon bedding and a seating area with a table and chairs. Western rooms come with carpeting, beds and a sofa. Yukata robes are provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the location is perfect for backcountry skiing in the winter. The onsen is wonderful.

Really beautiful location and quick drive away from the slopes. I stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. Arnau and Serge were great hosts and really lovely people. My room had a beautiful view of the mountain and the bed was super comfortable. Would definitely go back!!

The sense of familiarity with this place and host was just so friendly n warm. Facilities wise, they had a microwave and thus, it worked very well. They had washing machine services and it was nice to have our clothes washed! We took their advise for an onsen spa nearby and it was great!
Close to ski lifts, affordable and friendly service. Use of of Onsen close by was convenient.
The Onsen
Breakfast was a good mix of Japanese and Western foods, and included both coffee and tea. The onsen with rust-colored waters are well worth using, especially the outdoor baths. This is the highest elevation ryokan and onsen in Hokkaido, so it's a unique experience. The dinner also exceeded our expectations.
So so happy we get to stay here, so meticulously clean, new and comfortable… every details of the room are well thought, very functional and spacious. Owners are a couple and they are so helpful and friendly! Price is reasonable too! We used their washer/dryer for ¥500 which is very convenient! It’s a 15mins easy drive to the ski lift, and 6 mins drive to a public onsen and supermarket. We’d definitely like to come back again soon!
Great location, 5min walk to ski lift, or via free hotel shuttle bus. Comfortable room, but triple room felt a little cramped with additional bed squashed in. Onsen outfits provided, Smart TV and lovely view over snow covered village

Nice hotel with onsen, private baths and near Furano station and restaurants. The room is big enough for a family of 4 (we booked a deluxe room)
View of Mt. Tokachi from our Japanese styled room. Family friendly Ryokan. The tradition styled wooden onsen with the open aired option had a great view of the mountains! They provided Yukata and slippers in child sizes which was great! Felt nostalgic, as some of the furniture like the safe was from the 80s-90s.
