Boasting sea views, Kiki Shiretoko Natural Resort provides accommodation with a terrace, around 300 metres from Shiretoko National Park. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has an open-air bath, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath. The ryokan also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

We had a Natural Twin Room with a good view. Room is big and offers everything you need. Bed very comfortable, windows can be opened. Bathroom is a bit small but you instead can use the onsen. Onsen was great, outdoor bath available too. Breakfast and Dinner were Buffet-stayle and really good choice and quality. Staff was very nice and helpful, they spoke english too.

Featuring a hot-spring bath, a small shrine in the lobby and a restaurant serving freshly caught seafood, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort is a 5-minute walk from Oronko Rock. Massages are available.

Guests can stay in a classically furnished Western room or a Japanese room with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon beds. All rooms have an attached bathroom with bathtub.

I was really impressed by the size of and private onsen in the room and food selection during breakfast and dinner. For my 16-day Hokkaido trip, I spent the 3 most comfortable and enjoyable days at this hotel.

Amazing place to stay right besides Shiretoko national park. Exceptional hospitality, delicious food that was different every day (we stayed 2 nights), and wonderful onsen facilities. Would love to come back and stay again. Also gorgeous sunset views from the windows!

Everything - location is great, gorgeous sights of the shore and the sunset, room is nice, food is both high quality and inventive, and above all the family who owns and manages the place is very warm and friendly, and speaks good English. And the private, outdoor 'chartered' onsen was a delightful experience.

Large window with sea and mountain view. Not walkable to the sea from the hotel. Hotel staff friendly and help with carrying the luggage. There’s no lift. Room is big but not so comfortable sleeping on futon beds. Got to get use to it. Have a common well equipped kitchen with dining tables and free coffee. Hotel located slightly off road, down a slope with a sharp turn. Hotel is situated by a rocky beach.

The ryokan is located next to a stream in a valley in the national park. It ticks all the boxes. My tatami room was very comfortable and the outdoor onsen bath next to the stream and the woods was quite magical.

Very well located, at walking distance to Godzilla rock, 7 eleven, foot onsen. The Onsen was spaceous enough, clean facilities and you can also go for 500 yen private Onsen. The hotel has microwave, tea and water dispensers, shared bathrooms were clean and not crowded. Room was big, tatami was confortable. They provide yukatas. Breakfast was typical japanese, good one. There is small store inside the hotel to buy ramen and souvenirs.

I chose this hotel due to its location next to the trail head of rausu dake and I am super happy that I did that! The hotel is a cultural experience! Everything was perfect. The onsen was magnificent, the food was so diverse and of local products, and the tatami room was beautiful. They even offered a pepper spray against bears for my hike. To be honest, I can't share the opinion of the others that the hotel is too expensive. Instead I'd say you get more then what you pay!
