The traditional Japanese breakfast was included with the tariff and it was fabulous. Lots of little dishes beautifully presented on a tray. Included a thin slice of tuna (Katsuura is a tuna fishing port) which you grill on a small fire in a pot.

We stayed at the hotel after a long trek during the Kumano Kodo. The place is amazing, at 10 min from Kii Katsuraa station. The room was big, with a beautiful view on top of the sea. the onsens are amazing, and the buffet is good

The room was very spacious and the dinner + breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and i got to check in about an hour early. there was also free water and juice at the first floor and it is walking distance to a beach and other tourist spots. The view from my room was also really nice.
There is also a bus service from Kushimoto Station i think it was 2pm and 10am.

This onsen hotel has everything I was looking for. The Tatami room is nice and big. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer great variation of foods. The distance to train and bus station is ok. The onsen is super nice. And all the staffs were great and super friendly. I would like to come back. I was super relaxed when I left this place. Thank you Yukai Resort.

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was kept clean and facilities were nice to use. I enjoyed the onsen (can be reserved in half hour intervals). The futons provided were very comfortable and I had the best sleep. The location was walking distance from the popular tuna market and auction along with many other restaurants. I wish we stayed here longer!

The property had an onsen. The room was a traditional tatami room with futons to sleep in.
We needed to have luggage moved to another guest house as we were trekking, and the weight of our backpacks would have slowed us down. The guest house staff arranged for a transport company to collect out packs the next day and it arrived at the destination the same day. Brilliant service and so grateful for their help.
