We drive from Tokyo and this hotel is the only one we found can check in until 11 pm. The owner is very friendly and warmed to us. We live in a tatami room with a toilet. In the first floor you can use shower and bath. If you want to go hiking in 尾瀬Oze, this is a good choice since it is 5 mins drive to the bus station to hiking place. The breakfast is really good( traditional Japanese style)and the quilt is comfortable and warm.

All very clean, very friendly and welcoming. A lovely big Japanese room with clean futon sets. Onsen is not too big but clean and not too busy.
The dinner and breakfast were so well made, with all local ingredients, could see and taste all prepared with great care. We also loved the fact that it was so healthy and not too heavy.

In the forest surrounded by trees and a waterfall within the compound of the inn. Quiet, secluded and relaxing. Waterfall is visible from mixed outdoor onsen area and women only outdoor onsen. Japanese style Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. Staff were very helpful. Recommend to hike from main carpark to the inn during autumn from late Oct to early Nov for the amazing colours.

We liked everything about Bettei Senjyuan!! It was simply stunning. You can check in from 1pm and we would highly recommend you do. The property was aesthetically beautiful and the luxury touches made this fairly expensive stay completely value for money. The onsen - private and public - were amazing.
