Guest rooms at Kauai Shores Hotel are equipped with an LCD flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a Keurig coffee machine. The staff were excellent, they did not deduct any resort fee and the parking was free. The pool, hot bath and surroundings were extremely clean. The room, bathroom etc was clean and the room had a balcony facing the garden. All together, it exceeded our expectations.

Standing on the shores of the Coconut Coast of Kauai, Aston Islander On The Beach features a white sand beach, an oceanfront pool and ad hot tub. Free parking and a grocery delivery service are available. The place even though is a little bit outdated it's amazing. Right in front of the beach, one hot tub a pool. The receptionist welcomed us with some collars, a box of chocolates and also told us about everything that they had to offer. I was actually quiet surprised by all the amenities they had. It exceeded my expectations. I think it's worth the value considering how expensive kauai already is!

Each bright and spacious apartment at Aston at Poipu Kai is furnished with a private patio and a washer and dryer. The kitchen is complete with an oven, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. Guests can use DVD movie rentals. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

Overlooking a stunning black rock beach, large comfortable rooms, wonderful location. Spacious pool with lounges just steps from a sandy swimming beach. Free self-parking and an excellent luau on site (separate cost). A really wonderful place to stay in Kauai.

Nestled on 35-acres of lush tropical gardens and directly on Poipu Beach, this oceanfront property features easy access to a variety of recreational beach activities and has an on-site swimming beach. Each accommodation at this resort includes free WiFi. Featuring shops and dining opportunities, Poipu Shopping Village is right across the street from the property. Loved the beach and our room. Did not go to the pool area. Would have liked to have it on the grounds rather than across the street.

Surrounded by tropical gardens and offering direct beach access, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beach Boy features spacious condo-style accommodations along with on-site spa services and dining. It also features an outdoor swimming pool with a children's area as well as an oceanfront hot tub. The two bedroom condo was spacious. It would be very comfortable for a family or for two couples. There is enough privacy in the layout for two couples to really enjoy the space. I would describe the facilities as very nice, but not in the luxury category. I rate the value as extremely high due to the size and well thought out layout of the unit and the quality of the space and the furnishing. Of the complaints I read about in the reviews: yup, the ac unit in the kitchen/dining area leaked, but only a couple table spoons a day. I probably dribbled more water on the floor. And yup, there is no elevator, but the stair steps are about 3” high, and I was able to pull my large roll-aboard up to the third floor with relative ease. Loved the hot tub in the evening and the fact that it’s open after dark.
