I was introduced to rhubarb and ginger gin as the attached pub, Less than 5 pound for the short taxi ride from the train station. There is so much to see in the town as well as the hotel. A great value; why spend the same amount or more at a generic airport hotel? On my town walkabout I had the chance to visit St. Nicholas Church and have a delightful chat with the vicar's wife. This has to be one of the most pleasant one-night hotel experiences in my life. Almost forgot to mention: sticky toffee pudding for dessert in the Castle Dining Room.
