Rooms are clean and the staff was very nice and helpful (they even let us shower after we checked out, since we had a night bus). We had a nice view from our room. The location is quiet and not very busy, but still only few minutes away from the town center.

The room was ample, the beds and the bath comfortable. We had a very nice balcony with a view of the mountain. The staff was very friendly and on top of things. They made good recommendations for us to go to a spa or the local hot springs. Free parking and a good breakfast. They also had water to refill bottles.

Lovely space, 5 big bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice, well equipped kitchen, terrace with a cool table which turns into a bench, nice to sit in the sun, close to the thermal baths and centre. Nice safe and secure.
Good hostel in Baños, interesting interior. Very clean, with supportive and welcoming staff. They have kitchen and all the necessities to make your own meal. Breakfast was served on a rooftop, where is charming communal space and relaxation area with hammocks.
Papachos is a great hostel I would (and have) recommend to anyone. There is a lovely friendly but relaxed vibe. All the staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is always very clean, and the beds are comfy. What more could you want!

The staff was super friendly and chaty if you also wanted to have a conversation. The place is a bit away from the centre (3 walking minutes) which gives you a more relaxed and silent stay. Around the place are lovely sit options available to relax or read. Every thing is easy to reach and the breakfast is very good.
Staff were very hospitable and helpful. Lovely waterfall straight out front of the hotel that can be viewed from the room or relaxing areas. Breakfast was great. Rooms are comfortable and large
It was our second time coming back to stay here because it is so lovely. Great price, lovely friendly helpful staff, consistently hot showers, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a roof terrace to relax on and quiet at night!
