Everything was absolutely stunning, right down to the choice of tea bags in the room! The room was enormous and had wonderful views of the sea and the brewery. The window seat was my favourite spot to relax and watch the world go by. Location was spot on; right in the centre of town but also so quiet at night. The bed was simply the best hotel bed we've ever slept in. We slept like logs both nights. Staff were attentive and the hotel bar (The Taproom) was a lovely spot for a cheeky tipple as we digested the day.

The location of the cottage was fine. Reydon is a quiet village not far outside Southwold and the property had convenient parking. The cottage was clean, pleasant, comfortably furnished and better equipped than many holiday lets we have experienced, so we felt relaxed and 'at home' when there. It had all the facilities we needed, including a small garden. As well as being close to Southwold and Walberswick, there were lovely walks and nature reserves close by.
