In the heart of Chester, minutes from the River Dee, Oddfellows features a stylish bar and a modern restaurant, along with boutique-style rooms. There is free Wi-Fi throughout.

Housed in an elegant Georgian building, Oddfellows has luxurious, unique rooms on the top floor, with low wooden beams and roof/skylight windows. The rooms are individually decorated, air-conditioned and have a minibar and TV. Some rooms are housed in a separate building located at the end of the garden.

Love the Bohemian flair of the rooms, gardens, and lounge! The "cottage" was tucked away in a corner on the ground floor so it was very quiet. The furnishings were terrific, and I particularly enjoyed the large claw foot bathtub in the room, although some may be put off by the location right in the bedroom (there is a wonderful shower in the private bathroom if privacy is a concern). Lovely to soak after a long flight from the US and train ride from London! The staff graciously allowed us to stow our luggage after checkout so we could wander about unencumbered. They also assisted with getting luggage down the stairs at the entrance.

It is a lovely hotel. Not like the usual corporate chain hotel. Beautifully appointed, fantastic facilities and the staff were so obliging. My wife and I were in Chester to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the staff treated us like royalty, they even upgraded us to a suite with a balcony. We had breakfast there and that was excellent too. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Set in beautiful grounds the hotel is lovely, very clean rooms, bed so comfortable, shower and bath great, staff on arrival friendly, helpful and informative. We booked to use the spa facilities, pool, jacuzzi and sauna on the day. So relaxing and clean, towels provided and I think robes are too although we didn’t use them. Location great to walk into Chester, it’s a fair walk and only downside is crossing the busy roads just off the roundabout.

Beautiful little cottage with lovely exposed beams that really made for the perfect place for a romantic weekend. Owners had decorated it for Christmas as which was a lovely touch that really added to the aesthetic. Bed was very comfortable and the fire is lovely for winter. Location is absolutely perfect for accessing chester and has cheap parking nearby at the racecourse. Don't think youll find a better place than Chester.

Everything was amazing! I was able to communicate with the hotel really easily prior to my stay and arrange room upgrades and packages too. I proposed to my girlfriend on our second night and the staff were lovely enough to decorate the room with rose petals and a bottle of wine to make it extra special and helped me out each step of the way too! Really lovely facilities when we come back we are booking spa packages because it looks amazing! Breakfast was good and offered lots of choice too. Overall we had an amazing stay!
