I arrived in Cardiff after a long and frustrating day of travelling. The proximity of WiseStay to the train station was a bonus and it was so easy to find ( only a five minute walk away). I arrived after the staff had left and so let myself in using the keycode and everything worked well. The room (13) was ideal for me as a single traveller but may have been cramped for 2 as the bed was the full width of the room meaning that the person on the window side would have had to crawl over the other person to get out. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room and there was also a coffee station in the hallway with a microwave. The room, bathroom and public spaces were all spotlessly clean. The towels were soft and large and the bed was very comfortable. The building was very quiet during the night with no noise audible from other guests and no street noise from passing traffic or people. Considering the price that I had paid the hotel exceeded my expectations and is certainly somewhere that I would stay again next time I am in Cardiff and would recommend to others. It is ideally placed for all that Cardiff has to offer and close to transport links to further afield.
