This was the best hotel I stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need – it was actually the only hotel I found that offered hair conditioner! The location is perfect; the Old Town, restaurants, cafes, and tailor shops are all within walking distance. The real highlight is the staff. An and Helen are the heart of the place – incredibly helpful, friendly, and always willing to answer questions or offer recommendations. At check-in, you receive a brochure with all the essential information. The hotel also offers a free walking tour, which is a wonderful introduction to Hoi An and its history. Cindy was a fantastic guide, answering all questions with genuine enthusiasm. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

we had a great stay at this hotel. the room was clean, large, the bed very comfortable. the old town is just a few steps away. what makes this hotel special are the receptionists An and Helen. To be honest, none. If i had to nitpick, it would be that its hard to find on Grab (their version of Uber).

An (the receptionist) was very friendly and informative. She gave us recommendations to places around the area for our stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is also very central, short walk to popular places such as Banh Mi Queen, Phin Coffee, Hoi An Night Market, etc.

Our room was modern, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful touches, like mosquito repellent provided just in case. The staff went above and beyond—they let us store our luggage before check-in and even after check-out, and we were welcome to relax in the lobby during those times. They also offered us access to showers there and even had umbrellas we could borrow. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the hotel offered a range of activities along with a convenient town map. Plus, there’s a self-service station in the lobby for Vietnamese filter coffee, which was a lovely bonus.

The Hoianese Heritage is the gem of Hoi An, a 5 star hotel experience at a 1 star price. Great location near the Hoi An market and old town, clean and wonderful staff. Situated near the Helen, An, Sunny and Emma were so helpful and genuine. Hoping to return son.

It’s full of old world charm, and very tastefully restored and decorated. The location is perfect - right in the heart of where you want to be, but quiet enough to truly relax. My room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were amazing, attentive in every way, and happy to arrange anything I needed or wanted to see and do, with great suggestions and recommendations. The walking tour with Cindy was excellent. And my very special thanks to Helen and Sunny, who made me feel so welcome. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveller, and will definitely stay there again when I visit Hoi An.

I had the pleasure of visiting Hoi An in October and staying at the Hoianese Heritage Hotel for two nights. As a well-traveled individual, I can confidently say this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Everything, from the price to the location, reception, and comfort, was exceptional. The staff here truly go above and beyond. Everyone was incredible, but I’d like to give a shout-out to Helen. She’s an absolute legend! Not only did she take the time to review my itinerary, but she also adjusted it as a local, helping me book all my activities and staying in touch via WhatsApp to ensure everything went smoothly. Her kindness made my trip even more special. I also went on the free tour with Cindy, who is another extraordinary person. Her passion and deep knowledge about the history of Hoi An and Vietnam made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend taking this tour to anyone staying at the hotel. To all the staff at Hoianese Heritage Hotel, thank you so much for making my stay such a memorable one. You’re all truly amazing, and I can’t wait to return! Ps. Helen and An were so helpful - couldn’t do enough for us really. Also just both really lovely to talk to, we would enjoy sitting in the reception chatting with them. They gave us all recommendations on everything in Hoi an - all of which was fantastic. Everything was made crystal clear. We did the free walking tour with Cindy which was also great, I’d reccomend doing this it was really informative. The hotel itself is lovely, historic and super clean. Rooms are spacious and nice inside. Would 100% stay again 🙂

The Staff were super helpful and Ane made coffee while we arrived earlier than expected. Sunny was also very helpful the next day :) The place is very well maintained and the free walking tour was a bonus. There is nothing that we didn’t like but few things to note: Have ear buds as it may be bit of noise from outside like dogs barking or people moving. No fridge or television inside the room but you can keep your stuff on the ground floor.

Firstly, Ann and Helen are super friendly and help you with everything. Very clean and we stayed on the second floor. The property is old but we had no issues with the stay. The hotel helps you book airport transfers and the free walking tour was great.

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. An and Helen from reception are both so helpful and accommodating. They ensured we had a comfortable stay and helped us plan our daily itinerary depending on the weather. Their map with recommendations was extremely useful and they helped us book tours and rent a scooter. They also provide mosquito repellent (need to spray all the time!) and a coffee bar where you can make your own Vietnamese coffee and refill your water bottles. The location is also just five minutes away from Hoi An’s old town - near coffee shops, tailoring, spas, etc!

I would love to be able to get an espresso with my breakfast but that's just being picky. Really nothing was an issue.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. We felt well looked after by the staff who helped us book train tickets and a driver without inflating prices. Breakfast was great with plenty of options.

Ann and Helen were very nice and welcoming. They had a lot of info about Hoi An. Had a very nice room for two days with AC. Laundry service was perfect! The hotel is in the centre of Hoi An, but not the busy end, so you will catch some sleep. Would go there again anytime!
