Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI wanted to stay longer in this property, but decided to do one night, because the only reason for me was swimming in the ocean!The only thing I didn’t like was exactly the beach-a lot of trash and sun beds with umbrellas were too far away from the water-of course, because as closer you to the water as more garbage you step on.
The property itself is very nice! Seaview and balcony were amazing! Extremely nice staff.

ThailandFood is very expensive, gotta drive to the nearest city for a good, cheap vegan meal. We rented a motorbike and drove to the city to get lunch, bought some snacks in the supermarket and kept them in the minibar, or ordered food through the grab app (though the options here are limited).
We stayed here for a week. Beautiful secluded beach with white sand and clear water. Most of the time we were the only ones on the beach. The rooms are big and clean and equipped with everything you might need. There is a small terrace with a lovely view, many hotel amenities (gym, 2 pools, 3 restaurants, a bar). Minutes for cam ranh Airport.

NetherlandsAfter finalising the trip on booking, you'll be contacted by the private owner. It was a bit confusing in terms of the agreement and too much unnecessary back and forth. I would prefer things to stay as agreed on booking.com
Facility is new and comfortable. Room was clean and the staffs were friendly.

Very impressed! Near the airport, good to catch a flight✈. The room is big with nice view. We'll definietly come back here.
