The place was really nice and welcome you were well. Rooms are nice and clean too! Breakfast was very good, I had a pho EVERYDAY. But to me the best was the staff and their services, they were great, helping and made my short stay easier and better for sure! I can’t thank enough Lana for her advises too. I won’t come back to Vietnam without coming back to the same hotel, and will probably ask them for booking other activities

The fridge didn’t quite work, couldn’t keep consumables cold. The bathroom needed a bit more of a thorough clean.

The location was central to where we wanted to be, walking distance to all the Old Quarter tourist spots. The bed was comfortable. The bathtub was amazing. Just don’t have a bath during a heavy rain storm! You’ll flood the bathroom. The staff were all wonderful, extremely helpful and friendly people.

Lana, Jonathon and all the team at Salute were friendly, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of food selections.

The property is stylish yet affordable. My room was upgraded at check in to a room with a nice street view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great massage at the spa. Excellent restaurant recommendations. When I return to Hanoi, I will definitely stay here again.

Good location, comfortable hotel and amazing staff. The manager Lana was always very accessible and responsive via Whatsapp and helped us plan our trip. Lana and the other hotel staff takes customer service at heart and treat you as a valuable guest. Good variety at breakfast which starts as from 6.30am, so very practical when leaving for early morning tours. You cannot go wrong with this boutique hotel with personalised service.

There is not one thing about this hotel that I can cast a shadow on....it is simply perfect. I do think the staff ....ALL STAFF including housekeeping deserve a raise in salary....THEY ALL DESERVE IT.

You ask what we liked about this oasis amid outdoor chaos. This is a sanctuary where we felt comfortable, well cared for and our requests were not only met with consideration but the manager went over and above our request.to satisfy our need. This place is a diamond in the midst of all boutique hotels in the area. The breakfast was varied but it was also delicious and we could feel "love" being an important ingredient to their dishes. I would recommend this hotel to all and sundry and I WILL RECOMMEND IT...that is for certain.

The issue is no copy machine for check in.take photo from customer's passport by handphone or handphone of hotel but it is not safe and private for customer.better have copy machine.

The room is a little dated and the room we were in had incredibly low ceilings. Toilet could have been more well stocked and cleaner as well - the drainage had a sewage smell

Location was great, we were given a free upgrade due to the availability of a larger room. But the shining star was truly the staff who were energetic and excellent and went out of their way to allow us to have a great stay - with welcome drinks and fruit, a delicious buffet breakfast spread, and when asked for a space to change before our sleeper bus we were allowed to use an empty room to change and shower in.

Probably the best staff I have ever come across in a hotel, so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, it really helped me settle in. Breakfast options were delicious, so many tasty traditional Vietnamese options. I would absolutely stay here again on any future visits to Hanoi and would highly recommend it for others. Again thank you to all the ladies at reception, you are brilliant :)

The staff most welcoming, courteous, and helpful. The property itself is very clean and beautiful, and it is in a great location. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much, we cancelled our reservation at a different hotel for our return visit so that we could stay at Salute again. I give this hotel the highest of recommendations!

Excellent position that allows easy access to all of the old city. Delicious, sumptuous breakfast to suit all tastes, both eastern and western. The staff are exceptional, more than one would expect, willing to answer all queries and give precious advice for day trips . Lana at reception was always competent and professional

Staff does not respect do not disturb signs : mine was up and I was texted to ask if I wanted my room cleaned to which I clearly said no. The cleaning lady came in anyway (not the end of the world) and threw away things that she decided was trash, including my contraception (end of the world)! I really think this was overstepping and this put me in a very uncomfortable position (who the heck comes in and decides things that aren't in the trash are trash???). Staff was very apologetic about it, but lacked solutions (I was the one to ask and see if I could go through the trash and no one really helped me... I had to ask for gloves and was pretty much left to digging through disgusting trash alone). We came to an ok compromise in the end, but I was still stuck with the problem of a month of contraception being thrown out when travelling for a prolonged amount of time. The spa is just a small room adjacent to the lobby with sliding glass doors and curtains - kind of awkward when you have to get naked for treatments and people go through the door. I had reserved 3 treatments and again communication was deficient and only 2 had been booked.

I got a free upgrade when I arrived, which I appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff speaks poor English so I had a few problems because of that (see negative).
