It was my birthday and the staff decorated my room and brought me a cake! Room was clean and spacious. Bed was big & comfy. Communication was quick and helpful

Great hotel!!!!! The hotel is located in the center of Hanoi. The room is clean and the decoration is nice but the strong point of this hotel is from the staff. All the staff from the front desk, house keeping were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here next time!!!

Could hear street noise - it was relatively quiet and did not bother me but I was on the ninth floor. If you are a light sleeper then suggest you also request a room in a higher floor if available (maybe level 7 or higher). The property could look at better window sealing or double glazing some time in the future.

Upon arriving I was given a free upgrade to a junior suite. There are fewer tourists around at the moment and the manager said they give free upgrades whenever possible. The room was excellent. Clean and elegant. Bathroom, air conditioning - it all worked perfectly. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! I would love to take it home in a very large suitcase. Some of the staff spoke good english, and the others would use google translate or call on an english speaking colleague, who was never very far away. The staff were warm, friendly and professional and always happy to help. The area is a local area - which I like (it is a 15 minute taxi to the old quarter). I had a craft beer at The Galleon nearby, which was great - they serve food too from 5pm.

This is an ideal place to stay if you want to be around Doi Can and Ba Dinh in general. The room is clean and comfortable, and its easy to get to the likes of the mausoleum and Lotte tower by grab bike. Better for returning visitors after the pandemic.

The FPT TV box keep freezing and was unwatchable....I think the wifi connection was poor. The sink basin leaked water over the benchtop and floor....needs a plumber to change a washer! The woodwork was dated and needs attention. Hardly any power sockets available in the room.....phones needed to be charged on the floor.

The staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well with good water pressure. Cleanliness was excellent. The location was great, just outside of the Old Quarter. Plenty of restaurants/coffee shops around the small lake behind the hotel. 6 Pool tables on the 2nd floor. A few gym machines on the rooftop.

The hotel smells like cigarettes! It’s horrible; although the staff will tell you that they ask guest not to smoke… it’s not enforced in any way (there is literally “ash tray” right next to the elevator. The rooms are old and run down. There is so much mold in the bathroom, stains on the furniture. I don’t recommend staying here and definitely wouldn’t come back.

The pictures on Booking make this place look great but when you are there, the place is rather old. Carpets in the hallway desperately need replacing, strange smell in the apartment, TV not connected to internet and language in Vietnamese so no idea how to connect, shower screen doesn't close properly so leaks all over the room, shower goes cold after 3 minutes. Overall this hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for. The pictures are a bit of a misrepresentation.

Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful. Room was tidy.

Very small, dark and old apartment. We asked to change the room a few times. There is no heating air conditioner in the room, furniture was broked, shower cabin was leaking. When we checked out the staff tried to return our money in exchange for 5 stars review.

My hotel standards are not high to begin with but pictures on booking do not reflect the reality ( at least not up to date ). - barking dogs at 5 am behind the window that cannot be closed because it’s broken - crooked bed lamps that you afraid to touch because they fall apart - destroyed floor as well as ceiling in the bathroom - chipped furniture / door frames - cracked mirror And all that in upgraded room

There was a cockroach in my room, however, luckily the staff took care of it and I didn’t see any more cockroaches in my room after that. Wi-Fi usually slow and unreliable. Good enough for normal use, but not for stuff like video calls. There were so many issues with the equipment in my room - TVs not working (there were 2 in my room and both were not working 🙃), window blinds only going halfway up, the phone (for calling reception) not working from time to time, bed and doors pretty squeaky, safe/locker stopping working which means I had to wait for manager to open it for me (who is not on-site always, so sometimes you may need to wait for hours just to open your locker), … and more. Room was also little bit dirty and not so well-kept (windows super dirty, trash cans insanely dirty from the outside with stains that look like poop, lots of dust in all kinds of places which never got cleaned by housekeeping, usually no vacuum cleaning, …) The laundry service is pretty bad and unreliable - sometimes the clothes that I get back after washing are more dirty than they were before (color stains), also sometimes I ask for ironing but the t-shirts don’t get ironed. Plus at first the hotel staff told me that ironing is not possible, until another staff member told me that of course it’s possible 🙃

Great breakfast I got upgraded to a better room for free (for the entire duration of my 5-week stay) Very quiet at night, no noise from the street (at least on the 9th floor, not sure about lower floors) Bunch of drinks and snacks in the room’s minibar for very good prices Bed is super comfortable View is pretty good Most of the reception staff have good English (but not all) Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially cute receptionist Liz who even saved me when I had food poisoning 😄

1. The receptionist when was showing the room walked in in her shoes. Which in Vietnam I've never seen before. 2. The carpet was very dirty like it was never vacuumed. 3. The glass door in the shower wasn't closing properly so when you took a shower the water was spreading to the bathroom.

Very good staff, speaks English, and is very accommodating and caring for customers and their feedback.
