Only small things in the room there are no reading lights next to the bed which was negative. I would also suggest a drawer as room is big but not lot of place to store your clouth

Authentic, brings you in great holiday mood, Spacious room with gorgeous and authentic bathroom. Super nice terrace we booked it with sea view so it was stunning.

Breakfast was ok. Difficult finding any free recliners at the beach, was a little annoying. Should consider opening restaurant in the evening at the resort, rather than having to walk over to Ocean Bay.

Great location, room was fantastic, beach nice, good restaurant at Ocean Bay. We also visited the local restaurants (nearby on foot) which were great.

On the last night, we had some super loud neighbours, they were screaming, throwing stuff down the balcony (2am). After two hours we called the reception, but no one picked up. Luckily the neighbours then went to bed and was quiet..

It is just like in the photos, amazing! We love our stay here, the staff is super nice and helpful..the resort calm and clean.

The only disappointing aspect is not having much of a beach and being able to go for a long walk along the seafront

No happy hour at Grand Ocean Bay but it is all connected to Ocean Bay so benefit from restaurant/facilities of both.

Incredible resort. The pool was lovely and right next to the beach. It also had a swipe up bar. The breakfast was extensive with both western and Vietnamese options. The staff spoke very good English and were always very welcoming. The room was lovely, with the outdoor bath and shower. Prices were reasonable for a resort, but the resort offers scooter hire so you were able to go and explore local restaurants in the area too. Would highly recommend.

My only observation would be that most things I wanted were at Ocean Bay (the pool bar is open later, the bar bar is open later, you can swim in the pool later & scooter hire was also from here. I’m not sure if this is just whilst they are still completing the build. Wasn’t an issue as they have plenty of golf buggies on hand to take you to the other reception in less than 5 minutes but I did sometimes think I should’ve just stayed there. It was still wonderful & I’d return to both without a doubt.

Beautiful resort. My room (premium bungalow with balcony) was perfect, the bed was very comfy, the outdoor bathroom was tropical and luxurious. Fantastic views & thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the balcony swing. The ambiance of the place is great, nice relaxing music throughout, beautifully decorated. Helpful & friendly staff (particularly Henry). Grand Ocean is part of Ocean Bay but has its own pool and reception too. Both hotels were equally great, pools were great with awesome views. There is also a little bar on site with some tasteful evening entertainment & an outside pier restaurant/bar with beautiful lights which has the sunset views.

wonderful location right on the beach. Pool and swim up bar were fabulous. Bungalow was a great size and outdoor bathroom was awesome. staff were very friendly. breakfast was fabulous. the timber design of the hotel and room was gorgeous.

The wifi in the rooms didn't work, which was a bit of a bummer, especially since phone reception was also a bit weak. We also didn't have any bedside lights, so it was either light up the whole room or be in the dark. There were warm and cold options for all the lights though which was good.

This resort was exceptional. Despite a lot of rain (we came here in the rainy season) the atmosphere was fantastic, the facilities were excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was particularly good. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and we were able to get a buggy to and from it whenever we wished, though the walk was quite short if we went along the beach. Fantastic resort, would absolutely come back again.

Room service menu was a bit overpriced and limited. You might have a stay a distance from reception and need to be picked up by a golf buggy, but it's a well run system with friendly staff

Lovely clean private beach with cozy room and an amazing stone bath in a private Bali-style outdoor bathroom. Breakfast buffet was great.

Lack of activities for children. Playroom with games would be very welcome: table tennis, snooker, etc. The road to the resort is littered with rubbish. Command of English should be improved all over the board.

Location, breakfast collection, happy hours, caddy service. Massage is professional and staff is very kind and helpful.

Worked only one pool. Bar guys was more talking to each other than looking after guests.

Beautiful surroundings, very nice pool area. We were in off season so there were construction works near the pool and that was quite noisy. But you can lay near the sea too. Garden is magic. Breakfast is good. Rooms were wow!

I chose this property due to its beach side location and the pool, as I wanted to chill out and flop between the two. Unfortunately however that wasn’t really possibly due to the shortage of space around the pool and shortage of sun loungers at both the beach and pool. Every day I struggled to find a free sun lounger, and there were even fewer loungers in full shade under an umbrella. The staff did try to help me and let me use the loungers in the free beach front villas which I appreciated, but it was a hassle each day to arrange and meant I was away from the pool. If the villas had been occupied this wouldn’t have been an option. It looks like the property has expanded but the facilities have not matched pace. In addition to the issue finding a sun lounger, the lounger cushions were not readily available, the pool towels regularly ran out and the breakfast buffet was very busy with only just enough tables. The only dining at this resort is the pool bar however there isn’t really a system for ordering and receiving your order, unless you are actually in the pool. The only way to order is to crouch down at the back of the pool bar and hope the staff find you. I paid about 13USD for a plate of fries and a single gin and tonic, which seemed pricy and the fries were cold by the time they found me. You can walk over to the other resort for more food options. It’s a real shame because these are only small things but small things which spoilt my time there. I would go again but would book a villa with a private pool and lounger.

My room was lovely and I really enjoyed the balcony and outside bathroom. The grounds of the property, both the gardens and the beach are stunning. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle is a plus and it’s cheap and easy to get a taxi to wherever you want to go.
